Going to be a very good qb
He knows, no matter what others were saying at beginning of the season, he wasn’t ready for the NFL.
He is surrounded by great family and supporters. Money is not an issue. He will Learn the game unlike a lot of other qbs that are “Athletic athletes” which fail miserably.
Qb position is a lot more cerebral than just being an athletic athlete

He had 9 carries for 155 yards, once he gets a step on the defense he is gone. Arch is a lot better athlete than his uncles.

Yeah it's not close. Let's just hope He develops the rest of the game of being a Qb like his uncles.

Carson Beck will be moving up the draft boards as the Hurricanes have advanced to the final four. He isn't putting up big numbers but he isn't turning the ball over and is making one clutch play after another.

    This is his 6 yr
A lot of these athletes are in school as long as doctors
We had a rb at SC that was in his 8 yr this past season

I thought Beck was older than he was because he's been in college so long but he just turned 23 last month. He must have been 17 in his freshman year.

He's still a meh at best.
    QBR 16
    RAW 28

Dudes not a first round pick. Heck he's not even worth a 3rd.

I honestly don't know why someone is hyped on this kid. He's meh at best, and I don't care it is his first year. No one should be getting dirty knees over any of this.

If this is for the season then it isn't very useful. Some QBs started out a house-afire and fizzled. Some started like slugs (Manning) and shined at the end. Very few were good from start to finish. I'd like to see ones that finish strong.

He's got his uncles attitude though. That Kick-off return they showed him saying "Are you Fing Kidding me!?"

Also, his throwing motion looks back to normal. When he was struggling earlier in the season he was obviously playing hurt. Couldn't figure out why his family didn't force the coach to sit him.

And @jeh1856@jeh1856 said nobody talked bad about him. LoL.
Yeah He sucks playing against the teams he played against, you know half the teams that made the College football playoffs, and 2 of the top 3 big ten schools in his 1st year, and had 36 tds, he sucks. LoL
Let's leave out the competition he went against compared to all the other QBs you show. Let's leave that out, and act like all the conferences are exactly the same. LoL

How is this “QBR” stat even calculated?
Maiava had 24 TDs with 10 Ints, 65.8% and averaged 9.2 yards per attempt and he’s #1.
Joe Fagnano from UCONN had 28 TDs with 1 Int, completed 69% and averaged 8.3 yards per attempt, and he’s not even listed?
Does this calculation weigh yards per attempt over all other metrics combined? Goofy….

After another year of starting in college Arch will definitely be a first round pick.

Who's telling you it's his first year? You seriously acting like he didn't have stats last year? The year before? You meaning first year as starting majority of the games? (Because let's also be real, he got benched this year for sucking).

You drool over Byrum brown when he did his first season as a full starter? What about drew mestmeker? I could go on and on. 30+ combined touchdowns is not that uncommon. Honestly it's a mid tier QB for starters, like I've been saying.

Your boy isn't doing anything that's to warrant him even more than a 4th round pick.

That's the reason to look at RAW which accounts everything.

It still means very little for measuring pro potential. Fagnano had a great year statistically at the FBS level with 30+ TDs and a single turnover in 12 games, but I saw him play in person about a dozen times in the past 2 years and would be very surprised if he actually evolved into a quality NFL QB. There’s no substitute for film study.

It also doesn't take into account the difference in competition the different Qbs face does it??
