Is Ryan Day the next great college football coach?

    Miami will disappoint big time ND is probably a top 5 team with way more national exposure than Miami could ever generate.

    Yes that first game of season is equally important, I would like to see them play today and see who wins.

    It is when You are trying to overcome the team you lost to. Just think. If Texas didn't lose to Ohio State in the 1st game of the season, they may have made it in the playoffs, but they didn't.

    If Day wins the national championship this year, and I wouldn't bet against it, he'll have as many natties as anyone coaching in cfb (Dabo and Kirby Smart) so how can you not say he's the next great cfb coach?

    One game when the team lost it's OC, and Miami to its credit played about the best game it can, does not answer this question. I did not watch the game because I was hosting a party, but UM appeared to win due to its plays on the Lines..


    Ohio State fans, well some of them would rather beat Michigan than win a national championship.
