Bortles had just over 200 yards passing, the key is he didn't turn the ball over like Ben did.

You forgot his fumble returned for a touchdown. Y’all do the same dumb crap with the Super Bowl loss. Ben throws two interceptions. One of which was returned for a td, but you won’t mention that, only Mendy

No, the key is that the defense couldn't stop the Jaguars offense.

I never talk about Mendenhall being the reason they lost, so you should at least know what you're talking about before you try to put words in my mouth.

Yep, there are some big games where Ben didn't play that well. There are also people that talk about how badly he played in his first Super Bowl, but never mention that he lit up the AFC teams in the playoffs, and that his tackle on Bus's fumble is the only thing that got them to the game. They don't get to ANY of those Super Bowls without him.....but I guess that doesn't matter.

Ben also played behind most consider the worst offensive line to ever win a Super Bowl in 2008. It seems a quarterback has to overcome a lot and take a lot of shots to make that work and win the whole damn thing.

What's sickening is listening to people talk about Ben as if he was an anchor holding the poor franchise back. They won exactly sh!t until he showed up. They went to three Super Bowls with him and won two. They don't sniff one without him, so yeah.

Without Ben two turnovers the Jaguars don't score 14 points

I guess all a quarterback has to do is not ever have a turnover and he would be undefeated for his entire career.

Yeah, we were better, but they matched up well (and beat us twice at home). We still should have won... but it was tougher. The Bills almost beat them in the first round matchup, and would've likely been an easy win for us that year. It also hurts that the Jesse James catch (BS call) ended our chances at the #1 seed. We probably play a home AFCCG against the Pats if we win that one (though, past history says we'd lose that too).

Maybe everybody needs to see the horror that was Ben Roethlisberger in that loss to the Jags.

A pass by Ben that was broken up by a Jag player, hit the Steelers WR, bounced in the air and was intercepted.

His fumble came on a sack from behind while holding the ball in the pocket trying to make a play. The Jags picked it up and ran it back for a touchdown. That never happens to NFL quarterbacks.

Watch the offense in this game and tell me who doesn't want to see some of that again. We haven't seen that in a long time and may not for a while yet.

Yeah if you leave off the whole Having to pay Ben 10 times the amount we ever had to play a Qb during Cowher years. Cowher never had to pay a Qb big money, and so it never bit into his cap space of keeping the D, even when he had Ben, it was on a rookie deal. If You leave all that off. Yes.

Do you honestly think given Steelers history vs Brady/Belichick....that we would have won that game?

Dude, I don't go by what has happened before. It has nothing to do with the next game.
This is why You said for instance that Detroit was going to run all over us, and win, and they ran for 15 yards, and lost. And why You said Indy was going to run all over us, and win, and it didn't happen. You live in the past of what has happened. That's great for everything but sports.
If we do as You say. Live in the past in football. Texans, Bills, Chargers, ,and Ravens shouldn't even go to the playoffs, because they will just lose anyway. Every year is a different year.
