I am in my 60s. On any prior Steelers team in my recall, 42 points would be enough to overcome 3 pick sixes by the QB. We have WON multiple postseason games including SBs despite multiple turnovers. The idea of a Steeler team scoring 42 and losing is inexcusable.

 

Another stupid decision that season was how we replaced Shazier. Rather than giving LJ Fort (who became a capable starter) a shot, we call Spence back off his couch.

Fort was really bad against the run. I think they were rotating him on passing downs.

Everybody uses the Jacksonville playoff game they lost 45 - 42 to pile on Ben from 2018. Nobody ever wants to blame the defense or the coach. There must have been different rules back then. They must not have allowed defenses to stop anyone after a turnover or stop an offense after the first 5 minutes of the game. The defense gave up 17 points in the fourth quarter alone and the offense kept giving them the chance if they could just make a stop. They couldn't.

Blake Bortles put up 45 on the defense, but Ben was the problem.
