Not a Quentin Tarantino movie but so many parts reminded me of him.

Watched Napoleon last night. Hard to stay awake. Uninteresting movie and that's how Joaquin Phoenix played it. Like he just did it for the paycheck. Like Pickens' effort when he's not the featured receiver!

Anyone watched the new 'Knives Out' movie? I forget what they're calling this one. Trying to make time to watch but not yet.

Finally got around to watching this. Not as good as the first installment but better than the second one, IMO. The who, I figured pretty early. The how and why was what made the mystery for me. It was fun.

I had that on my to be watched list on Netflix, I think. It moved to a different streaming service before I got to it. I catch it when it makes it back around.

Elevation on netflix is pretty meh. Your basic run of the mill alien invasion film.

So they left the door open for a sequel by showing 3 objects hurtling towards earth. That doesnt improve the fim

Well if You mix it in with the change of the ideas that at first they thought they were an animal that came out of the ground, and later found out they were actually robots, it changes everything. I said it wasn't that good, but had some good parts, and the end made me willing to watch the sequel.

I still got to see two of them. I've only seen Knifes out.
Did You like the last two remakes of the of the Agatha Christie movies Murder on the Orient Express, and Death on the Nile??
I haven't seen the last one yet.

Liked them both. Death on the Nile was my favorite. I'm a pretty avid fiction reader and I felt I had to read an Agatha Christie novel. I'm use to modern writers but I read Death on the Nile. Will admit I struggled but like the book. 1937 a bit different then 2025.

There is another that came out in 2023 that I haven't seen yet, with the same detective that's in Murder on the Orient Express, and Death on the Nile. It's called A Haunting in Venice. Have You seen that one??
