This is just my two cents! Wouldn't a Coach want to win a winnable game and lock up the Division so that in the last and finally game of the season which is meaningless! so he can rest some star players! Now instead got to play the headhunting Ratbirds and possibly walk away with injuries heading into the playoffs! Does not strike me as very smart decision making! We all know Ratbirds aren't going to lay down and give us nothing its going to be physical down to the final whistle! I'm very concerned about injuries!

This is true of both the offense and the defense today. Running on two third downs was a great example of that. Failing to attack Sanders early was another example of that. The stubborn refusal to throw over the middle was an example of that.

It isn't the only reason they lost. The lack of a competent receiver, which is also at least partially Tomlin's fault, was huge. Rodgers stubbornly forcing it to MVS cost them dearly. I hate to blame anybody on the defense, but Herbig dropping an easy pick-six was a killer. The Browns tried very hard to Brown today, but the Steelers let them get away with it.
