He came out right after he bent over double and tried to run three guys over with his forearms and face.

I saw him on the field for a few snaps, but no targets that I'm aware of. He must be deep in Tomlin's dog house.

He has developed a very silly habit of lowering his head abnormally low after a completion when he would make way more yardage keeping it up

They targeted him on the last drive until they got inside the 10 and Rodgers locked in on MVS. You have to wonder if there is something unhealthy between MVS and AR.

He dressed, but barely saw any snaps. What the coaching staff thinks doesn’t carry much weight right now…. They think MVS is the catsass and he was terrible today.

It's criminal how this offense has misused Muth.

They seem to only go to Muth when they are desperate, and he comes through for them. Rodgers went to him on that last drive. Through him they went all the way down the field and moved the ball in a way that they hadn't all day. Once in scoring position, Rodgers completely ignored him to throw the ball to his buddy MVS, as he did for most of the day.

MVS didn't get open all day. He didn't make adjustments to the ball or get his head around early enough on back shoulder throws. He routinely ran incorrect routes or made mistakes that confused his QB as he broke off routes just as Rodgers was throwing him the ball instead of continuing the route. That was a nightmare performance by Valdes-Scantling, and shame on Rodgers for forcing the ball to him today. Rodgers screams at everyone when they make mistakes yet continues to feed MVS the ball when he is doing everything wrong the entire game. I don't get it.

Freiermuth is not the blocker that Washington is, but he is a player that can consistently get open...particularly against zone. He also has great hands and has been an elite target in the redzone. It is time to get Muth more opportunities because they need players that give them a chance to make plays. If Calvin Austin can't play and Tomlin isn't going to play Wilson, they have nobody with speed to stretch the field.

They have put themselves in a very, very bad position with this loss.

He already has chronic knee issues and going for the knees is a TE killer.

    I'll bite.

Is the PF disappearing act on Rodgers or the play calling?

I realize you do not have enough information to actually answer this. But what are you seeing?

I can not tell from what I see what is going on. I tend to blame PF not being good enough but also am well aware that I am not able to know that either.

Great pts! MVS also whiffed badly on a TE screen to Smith.

At least they will get to the first round while we sit on the couch watching and wondering why we keep coming back supporting such a mediocre coach.

Well, PF's snap numbers are way down. Muth doesn't control how many snaps he gets in a game. The snap count is a coaching decision. When he is on the field, the play call, who the primary read is, and the progressions of the play determines a lot. However, Rodgers still has the ability to pick a matchup he likes and go there with the ball. Just as Rodgers can have a running play called, but overrule that with a signal to any receiver and make a quick throw to them is he sees an opportunity for an easy gain. Rodgers has a ton of control over who gets the ball on any pass play, but he can only go to who is on the field at any given time.

Washington has made good strides, and the coaching staff loves his blocking skills as a good fit for the offense. I believe that Muth should be seeing the field more than he does, and that they should be using him more as a receiving threat.

None of us can know everything or determine with absolute certainty the how or the why. But clearly the coaches don't believe they are as good with him on the field based on the style of play they prefer....or he would get more snaps.

I just believe he is a much more proven and reliable receiving option than anyone but Metcalf, and Gainwell in check down situations where the QB needs to get the ball out of his hand to avoid a sack and there are multiple defenders to navigate for the chance of a big play.

    I don’t disagree.

But everything happens for a reason.

clearly all we can do is speculate. But either there’s a vast conspiracy against PF or he’s not doing something in practice or games to force his way into the field.
