It isn’t “scripted”, but the NFL will put its foot on the scale for it to go the way they want it to, definitely. To think that they don’t is simply naivety.

the players aren’t in on it, but the refs and the league officials in New York that make the replay assist and all that are. Any ref claiming that they knowingly rigged games ends up dead, not rich. There won’t be any credible evidence anyways. It will be “oh I was told to make sure that I called it right against Houston and I did and the league got what it wanted”. All they have to say is “prove it”, and they won’t be able to. They’re in the business of making money. They can’t own complete control, but they do influence things to shape the direction they want it to go.

This team couldn't put up more than 6 points against the lowly browns.. browns had a couple big plays called back.. after the bs OPI call on us, refs made it up with an equally lousy taunting call on them. This was probably the worst coached game we've seen all year with the stupid playcalling

i agree DK acted like an idiot for taking the bait, but we shouldve been able to handle the browns without him. Our RB tandem, PF, JS, Thielen, RW, with some game planning that shouldve been enough

The Steelers are a global brand that get huge TV ratings. Why would the NFL want to jeopardize that?

They put up 6 points against the Browns. The Browns offense was content to kick the fg because the HC had zero respect for this offense. Btw, Stefanski would be a teeat HC for the Steelers. But it will never happen.

They also played for Garrett not to get the record. Not to win. Embarassing. Who gives a rats behind if he gets it.

 

Worst coached game in maybe two years. It was that bad.

 

The Mike Tomlin Steelers are now 1-6 in Cleveland since 2017. Shame on us for believing this bum could do a good coaching job when the division was on the line and overcome adversity.

Fixed being a broad term as several others in here have indicated.

DK being suspended for 2 games clearly shows the NFL has their thumb on the scale somewhat. There is direct proof there. Why 2 games, when other guys have got ZERO!! 1 game, understandable, but not 2. But an argument could be made for no games, based on the failings of NFL security (proven) and their (NFL) prior enforcement (or lack thereof). There is more proof than what you have.

There are 2 week 18 playoff games - wonder which one they'll put Sunday night.

Of course, they might just put the Ravens on Saturday night again.
