TE Weslye Saunders suspended 8 games

    This might deserve to get moved but I'll start it here. Just got a text from ESPN saying Colts TE Weslye Saunders was suspended 8 games for PEDs. He had potential when he was here. Looks like he didn't learn from the first time.

    Potential or not, no way he was cracking the starting lineup with an injury to Allen or Fleener

    Where are all the guys who were bemoaning the fact that we let Saunders go even though he may have had half a dozen receptions and maybe one TD for the Colts last year? When the Steelers make a personnel move there is usually a well-thought out reason behind it and that reason normally manifests itself at some point in the future. This is the manifestation of the Saunders decision.

    looks like the steelers made the right choice with saunders. he was suspended 8 more games for violating the leagues performance enhancing drug policy.

    by the way former wr bert reed was suspended 4 games.

    Ditto here! He did have more upside and at the time no one could know he was going to have a suspension "this" year. Also, I think the biggest gripe was the way they used his roster exemption and when he was eligible to return they cut him.
