Manny Sanders expected to make huge strides in 2013

This article has him at number 15 in the top 40 players expected to make the leap this season. Sanders says the Steelers are expecting 70 receptions and 1,000 yards out of him this season and he expects that of himself. Hey, I could live with that even if it does mean one and done.

I don't care how many catches he gets or yards. he's got to get in the endzone. so does AB. somebody has to make up some of the scoring lost.

 

And now that you mention that, I hope that Manny and AB cut the crap with all of the celebrating after getting first downs this year. Save it for something that counts like, oh I don't know...TOUCHDOWNS?! Hopefully they learned this offseason that the NFL doesn't give points for first downs!

I saw this article earlier and it made me think that Wheaton must be gonna line up outside but I had figured he would be a slot guy too. So do you think Wheaton will wind up outside and Sanders in the slot?

 

I just hope Wheaton makes the starting lineup, and we get all we can out of Sanders this coming season...
Because the writing is pretty clearly on the wall, that Manny aint gonna be in the `Burgh, past this season.
