I thought Mahomes was the best QB I have watched but these last few seasons have made me pump the brakes a bit.

These last few years I have seen teams figure him out and he has yet to adjust.

I think its still Brady even tho they cheated and I hated him in NE.

So you think there is a big gap between Ben and Mahomes? Because thats what I said, theres not a lot separating them.

He cemented that when he went to a new team and won a SB his first year there. I think what separates him from everyone else is his grasp of the game and how fast he processes it. Has like a mini super computer in his head.

Brady the best in my lifetime

When our last hope was on Jamarcus Russell like in 2009, it was over!

For 2013 and 2022, the steelers were 5-8, their hole was way too big

2006 was similar to 2009...Just a random down year for different reason,.....The true color of that team was 2004,2005

Fun fact. If you add Allen, Rodgers, Lamar, and Mahommes, they had all of ONE playoff win total, when throwing 2 picks (Rodgers).

Ben has won 4 such games despite throwing multiple picks.

Ben is a great future HOF QB, but make no mistake. He won only with defenses that Mahommes, Rodgers, and Allen wish they had for the better part of a decade.

I was shocked when they said Tomlin was picking up his 200th win and the the active coach currently is And Reid with 307.
Big Ben says it was extreme. :)

Well they are all greats. Just using the latest of them Brady, Ben, Manning, Mahomes, Brees, and such, but If I was doing a draft of all of them, I take Mahomes. They all have their weaknesses, but I believe Mahomes is the one with the least weaknesses.

I think some of you forgot how Brady won his 1st couple of SBs. You do realize that in 3 playoffs games, and a SB he had a total of 2 tds. That's a total of 2 tds in 4 games. Thats like a half a td a game. LoL. Also He won another SB where he had no tds, and a int. People forget how much he depended on the D at times.
Name Me one SB Mahomes won where he could do that throughout the playoffs, and SB, and actually win.

In 2023,Mahomes was good but not great outside of the game in Buffalo....at one point, the chiefs were at 4 quarter in a row without a TD...The last 2 vs ravens and the first 2 vs 49ers in the super bowl....Credit to him to be clutch like crazy at the end but it was not Mahomes from 2018 to 2022 when he was by far the best QB in the league.Of course, his supporting cast on offense outside of Kelce and a rookie Rice was nothing special but we could said the same in 2022 when he won the mvp with like 40 TD...I agree for the first 2 super bowl for Brady.....He was good but not great

Mahomes is still in my top 4 ever with Brady,Montana and Manning

    Winner.
Name me a playoff run , and a SB that Patrick Mahomes could win all 4 games, and only throw a half a td a game??
Or a SB that Pat Mahomes won when he scored no tds, and had a int. . You can't, but I can do both for Brady. Some people forget how much Brady needed a great D to win some of those SBs.

I'm not talking nothing away from Brady, Ben, Manning, but Mahomes has never won unless it was of his doing. The rest have won SBs they did nothing in.
Brady won a SB he had no tds, and a Int.
Manning won a SB he had no tds, and two turnovers.
Ben won a SB he had multiple turnovers, and only one td.
Mahomes has never won a SB where he had more turnovers than tds. Closest one was his 1st playoff win. 3 total td, and two ints. All the other Qbs above have.

I sure as hell am not. Hell, Mahomes is above Big Ben and arguably Drew Brees. Mahomes on his best day doesn't compare to Peyton Manning and the NFL World has seen what happened the last time Brady took on Mahomes.

Your right . I don't remember Mahomes making a SB with 9td, and 17 ints, or winning a SB with two turnovers, and no tds like Manning did.
Maybe when Mahomes can do that he will be better than Manning. LoL

Peyton Manning revolutionized how QB must handle pre snap recognition, processing information on reading defenses and identifying formations within those defenses. Up until 2022, Mahomes had little reason to do so. Why?!

He had a generational TE to pair with arguably the NFLs Greatest Ever Deep Threat in Tyreek Hill (I still believe Paul Warfield is his superior but I digress). This doesn't discount Patrick's ability to read defenses. However, having that much firepower essentially simplifies how Defenses could defend the Offense; a classic battle of pick your poison. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Now, is Patrick Mahomes the best QB in the NFL currently?! I would say so but not nearly as much as he was two seasons ago. Is Mahomes a Top Five QB in NFL History?! Not even close.

    Yes.

For that matter, Mahomes is Big Ben's superior in just about every way. Mahomes has the NFL MVPs, Super Bowl MVPs and All Pros that far surpass Big Ben.

He also choked in many a big games because he over analyzed everything.

Getting back to the topic at hand, Reid will have a worse record than Tomlin this season. Congratulations. Chuck Nolls 1988 Season is the worst in Steelers History since 1969. Bill Cowhers 2003 wasn't much better. Both aren't remembered for that; doubly so in Nolls case.

Reid will be remembered much more for his Head Coaching role in taking the Chiefs to 5 of 7 Super Bowls dating back to 2019. That's GOAT Level Coaching. Tomlin hasn't sniffed a Playoff Win since 2016 and has been given BTA (belt to ass) in the playoffs since 2020.

    In short?!

    Andy Reid >>>>>>> Mike Tomlin.

    It's not even close.

Peyton Manning didn't have great Defenses in comparison to the QBs he lost to; namely in the form of Tom Brady. 2006 was one of his best ever while 2015 was easily his best while he was clearly at his worst.

Regarding the "over analyzing", in what way did he?!
