If the Steelers make Playoffs I'd say of the 14 NFL teams that make it, us and the NFCS winner will have highest odds of winning SB.

That said, I remember when the Arizona Cardinals were thought of in same way and they were minutes away from winning a SB.

Steelers were in the game in losses to Seahawks, got out of hand after the Kickoff return by Johnson.

Buffalo at halftime, they were in it until wheels feel off.

They had the chances to beat Green Bay and the Bears.

If they had healthy good playing Rodgers they would have won that Bears game.

Only really bad game was the Chargers; they laid a complete Egg in that contest.
Which this kind of makes me laugh when Steelers fans say they want the Chargers at home in 1st round, I think to myself, might have been our worst game all year, and that is who you want?

Also, should of beat Cincy on Thursday Road game.

But that is how it is there are games they won were they easily could have lost it.
    See Ravens, Detroit, Jets.

Fine line between winning and losing often.

Correct me if I'm mistaken - aren't all of those you listed Division leaders? If that isn't impressive - what is?

If ever there was a year that all of this goes out the window, it's this year. A lot of people are putting pressure on Josh Allen because there's no Mahomes, Burrow and possibly Jackson. I would say the same goes for every AFC team, including the Steelers. They have just as much of a chance to make the Super Bowl as any of the others and if they don't in a year with this many top QBs out, I'll consider it a disappointment.

If Baltimore losses tonight that game will mean nothing and we should rest players.

Pitt and Carolina especially are not impressive division leaders. They both just play in horrible divisions.

    Fair point.

But would you consider the Eagles weak/pathetic because they play in a trash division? The Texans? Broncos? All have pretty weak divisions at this point for one reason or another.

Just being devil's advocate here. What team(s) would be considered impressive to beat, knowing that odds are they are in a bad division?

Eagles division is weak but they are the defending champions so until they are eliminated they have to be considered quality. Texans are with Jacksonville who apparently is very good this season. Broncos are with the Chargers who are also excellent this year.

I don't think the eagles are very good this year with their struggling offense. They could win a playoff game but making the nfc title game, this is very questionnable right now.Still a good team but they are not great like last season

I don’t like the Eagles this year either but you can’t completely count them out. The defense is still very talented and the offense has playmakers. Something does seem off with Hurts.

The more pressing question is why do you have an avatar of Billy Bob Thornton with no shirt holding a guitar?

Blame that on the guys that thought it was funny running around using my old avatar. LoL. So instead of complaining , I just changed mine. I'd go back to my old one, but I don't have it anymore. So I just took a screen shot of one of my Guitar videos

Detroit was at home in their dome desperate for a win to stay in the playoff race, they still have the NFL top scoring offense held them to 15 yards rushing.

    Miami beat Buffalo
    Giants beat Eagles
    Panther beat the Packers
    Browns beat the Packers
I guess those playoff teams were playing down to the competition too .
