If the Viking beat or tie the Lions, Green Bay clinches a playoff spot. Might affect their personnel decisions for the Baltimore game.

    Go Detroit.

They would still have a chance for the NFC north title.....

How about we just win and quit wishing for other teams to take care of business for us.

I agree, but the advantage is, maybe it buys some guys nursing some ailments another week of recovery.. maybe Aaron only plays a half or something, instead of going all out the entire game.. it's been a long time since this team had a proper bye week.

Chicago doesn't play until Sunday night against San Fran, who also have a lot to play for. Their last game is against Detroit. The Packers aren't going to rest until they are eliminated from the division title, and even then they're playing for playoff seeding. Chicago beats San Fran and they're only half a game out of the second wildcard, with San Fran playing Seattle for the division the next week. Doubt they'll be able to overtake LA who finish up against Atlanta and Arizona.

Rush TJ back this week, or give him an extra week to make sure he's 100%.

    Agree to a point
Steelers are not that good to rest starters for up to 3 weeks
    Play Cleveland game
    No matter what
Starters maybe the first half against Ravens
    If we already clinched

They are not doing bad without him.

They gave up 15 yards rushing to the Lions.

I like Detroit chances of winning since Minnesota will be starting a rookie third string QB.

Surely the Vikings will win, I mean their coaching staff is so much better than ours, at least that's what I was told, and we beat the Lions.

I'm thinking that would change my perspective on things. I get pissed at myself for getting so worked up over guys that couldn't care less about me or the city of Pittsburgh.

Vikings up 13-7 with their 3rd QB in the fourth quarter....What a game by Flores so far!

Imagine if the vikings had only a top 60 QB in the league for this game!

Vikings win. Reminded me of when a lesser QB would beat us.

They did win, the Vikings completely shut down the Lions offense. The Vikings won with rookie UDFA Max Brosmer making only his second NFL start.

Without his coordinators from last year, Dan Campbell was exposed for the lousy coach that he is.

We beat both, and a loss to Chicago by 3, and Green Bay split against the NFC North.

So many people praise Campbell for being aggressive. Hers something to ponder. Had he just kick a field goal in the first against us last week they could have had a walk off FG at the end. Not quite the same result today, but he should have just taken the points

He cost the Lions a trip to the Superbowl a couple of years ago in the NFC title game. He went for it on fourth down twice and failed instead of kicking the FG's in a game they lost by 3.

By this logic, they would not beat the rams if they would not go on fourth down in the first half on that wild card game. They won by 1 point at the end and they had 4 more points because of that fourth down decision

Also the lions had not a very good kicker that year and it was a 48 yards FG on both occasion,so it was not automatic....When you go on fourth down, you always need to look at the net point at the end....And this is more the lions defense who had been the problem in the second half by gave up 3 TD and 1 FG in the final 4 drives by the 49ers....Too easy and too lazy to blame that on the fourth down decision, who was not that bad since it was fourth down and 2 yards to go....If they would make it,they would have the chance to control more the clock

Hopefully the Rats are so pitiful, they will lose anyway, LOL. It`s terrible GB can opt to lay down, but that is a home game for them. Maybe they will give full effort.

Would be nice not to have to play everybody against the Browns.

He plays the game like it's Madden. His decisions have lost his team games all the time. Like Cowher said more teams lose game than win them, and Belichick said something similar ....You can't win until you keep from losing.
Neither of these HCs were flash in the pans.
