He is a past his best all time great who leads the NFL double teams. Still a good player. Is he worth is contct?? No, but none of our defensive players are.

 

You do realize that 7 pass rushers were taken before TJ Watt in that draft.
Now tell me how many times do you think he was facing double teams from that. LoL.
Oh no the 8 th pass rusher is out there, let's triple team him.
Hell he didn't even play on that side his 1st year.
He didn't start seeing that kind of attention until years later.

 

Which is why I laugh at people whose team sucks and they say at least we'll get a high draft pick. No idea how a college kid will perform in NFL.

 

Yeah? He averages over 4, but sure. We've been pretty hit or miss running the ball (we run it the 6th least in the league). Some games we run it great, some games we run it horribly.

Gainwell has been an awesome weapon for us (he's a terrific receiver out of the backfield). We're really lucky to have the tandem we have.

still better that Harris....Harris had 7 games last season with a game at 3.0 or under including the playoffs and 10 games with 3.5 or below.Just brutal.Warren is also a much better receiver when he has the ball in his hands.And can't ignore the much higher success rate b y Warren

 

I only believed half of what was said about Rodgers before the Steelers signed him. He's a different type of personality, maybe misunderstood. But certainly not the 'diva' label Bayless slapped on him.

 

Not really. Two different roles on the team.

Warren
185 carries, 828 yards, 4.5 avg, 6 rushing TDs, 35 rec, 300 yards, 2 receiving TDs, 0 fumbles

Gainwell
102 carries, 501 yards, 4.9 avg, 4 rushing TDs, 62 rec, 410 yards, 6.6 ypc, 3 receiving TDs, 2 fumbles

They compliment each other very well, but I do not think either is really out performing the other. They are both doing what they need to do in terms of roles they play.

 

Yeah I don’t care about all that stuff. When I made this post which was prior to yesterday‘s game. Gainwell had been a more impactful player for the Steelers in my opinion. Warren had a great game yesterday. Gainwell also played pretty darn good.

 

I know of a poster who will argue with you about this just to argue

 

Nothing wrong with being wrong. IMO the problem is many can admit it, and would rather double down. You have been correct about many things, so I forgive you. LoL

 

MVP to date is Gainwell or Rodgers.

 

Wasn't Rodgers a FA signing, or am I wrong???
If he was, then Rodgers IMO was the best, and Gainwell the 2nd.

That was the debate on the Nightly Sports Call last night. Who is going to be the Steelers MVP, Rodgers or Gainwell? Pompeani said Rodgers but Poni and DK ( not Metcalf) picked Gainwell.
