It was like a boxing match when it's clear the one boxer was the winner but the judges are taking forever to render the decision because they're trying to find a way to give the loser the win.

Fautanu got *****-slapped by Hutchinson for a sack on Rodgers.

Maybe a little mind blowing, but completely expected. As the 3rd quarter ended, I turned to my wife and said "are you ready to see the Steelers defense take the rest of the night off?" and then they proceeded to show her what I meant.

Still ecstatic for the win, but there was a lot of luck with the penalties against the Lions to keep this from being a L.

What was most irritating was the announcer saying the 'defense looks gassed'. This after they got almost the entire 3rd quarter off?!?

My son and I usually watch together when he's home from college. Last night they had a Christmas party, so we let them have the living room while my wife and I watched in the bedroom.

My son was watching the game on his phone on and off during the party, and apparently his phone died right after the Lions had the TD that got overturned at the end, but he only saw the TD and didn't see that it was overturned, so he just assumed the Steelers lost

Several minutes later he came in the bedroom where we were watching to say something about being disappointed with the game, and when he looked at the TV, he was like, "what's going on, the game ended?"

My 14 year old daughter watches games with me all the time. She thought we lost and stormed out of the man cave garage. I called her back said its not over.
She is like what is going on, and I'm like I'm not sure I know, even the Nantz and Romo didn't know. But I think it finally got figured out in the end. Pretty crazy ending.

Adam Thielin is a solid #3 WR. He gets open, is where he is supposed to be / understand defensive holes in coverage , and has good quickness.

Gaiwell is an amazing receiving back, and a big play running back.

Washington had a great game aside for the fumble. Dude is a mismatch blocker and a huge receiver.

Cook was serving up a great game aside from one play vs. an all star. It was only his 2nd start. He is our left tackle of the future. He's super smart ( He started out as QB in college ) , moves his feet well and uses his hand well.

Sawyer was solid in his first start with five tackles and was used quite a bit in coverage.

Now all of the above men were plan B or C players that our coaching staff did not use until injuries hit. We are good now by accident, not through coaching and each of the five men played a noticeable role in victory. The excuse he will be better once he learns the system does not apply to these men!

Well I wouldn't send the Equalizer for a missed field goal...

As usual the blackandgoldpatrol analysis is spot on.

Just need someplace to put this:
9 minutes into the game, Montgomery had a 17 yard run. He finished with 4 carries for 14 yards.
In the second quarter, Gibbs had successive runs of 6 and 3 yards. He finished with 7 carries for 2 yards.

99/100 we lose these type of games especially with that Boswell miss. Maybe we get some Rodgers magic in the postseason.

Romo saying “All the lions need are 13 points, they can do this. And then Nantz chiming in, I’m with you Tony, I really am. The lions are very much still in this”. How the Hell can these guys announce games every week is beyond me. They are not supposed to be local announcers. Romo had his Pom poms on overdrive.

The point is you aren't going to make it on fourth down every time that's why you should just take the FG, that idiot Campbell once went 0-5 on fourth downs in a game.

Except for that OPI on Washington he wasn't trying to run a pick the guy ran into him and cost the Steelers a TD.

    the defensive collapse.....

so.....Tomlin DOES NOT know how to play with a LEAD.

he has not had much practice with it over the years. We have seen 3 times this the COLLAPS happending. The Vikes almost stole the game in London. Then yesterday. that PREVENT CRAP is for the birds. And the the the ALMOST COLLAPSE, should be collapse - vs. the RATS with the Likely TD call reversal.

    It is a problem......

IMO the worse was Chris Collingsworthless. He showed his dislike for Steelers every chance he got. I'm assuming it was because we kicked his ass.

I liked Romo but after yesterday he can suck it.

Great win. I think the D is playing better without Watt because the DC/Tomlin are now calling more blitzes instead of relying on Watt to make a play.

Now we just need the Rats to lose to GB and to beat the Stains and then I think we can rest players for the last Rats game.

My wife isn’t a fan but since her step dad was from Pittsburgh and I’m from Pittsburgh she knows the routine.

I have to give her credit. When the Lions scored the first time to take the lead she kept screaming throw the flag until they threw it… lol

If the Ravens lose to the Packers then we win the division whether we beat the Browns or not.

So... the only way we miss the playoffs now is if Ravens win the next 2 games (1 against Steelers)... and Steelers lose the next 2. Right?

The upcoming Browns game will be their Super Bowl... and we will be without Metcalf. I hope Hypen dude, Theilen and Miller are ready to bring it... because Rodgers will need to throw to players other than RBs and TEs. Looks like CA3 is out too... so the great Roman Wilson will be activated for Browns.

Didn't it look like Kuntz got injured a couple of weeks ago and they would have to an emergency LS ala James Harrison type thing? If so can this be chalked up as lingering illness or is it really declining skill?
