    Seems like out of necessity.

That said, having the likes of Derrick Harmon back does help.

Boswell missed a FG. It hurt my soul, but he has been such a rock for us that I can overlook this one. Bad snap probably contributed to it (or outright caused it).

Penalties. Steelers 8 for 89, Lions 7 for 40. I think that in the circle of woe at the end of the game, the refs were tallying up which team had the most bets on them. Apparently it was the Steelers.......lol

Clark missed a lot of chances for an interception. On the other side of that coin, several of those misses were really good defenses. Would have loved to get the turnover, but he at least stopped the play.

Final drive started with 2:08 on the clock if I remember right (because Rodgers threw it away instead of taking the sack). Lions had the 2 minute mark and 1 time out. I think the clock was stopped on almost every play that was not an incomplete pass. Penalties were such a gift for the Lions on that drive. Free yards and a stopped clock.

Washington is a tank. He reminds me of Juggernaut running thru walls without slowing down. He has to be gang tackled. You could probably put him on the opposite side of the field from DK and force a choice. Double DK or send help to tackle Washington. And then hand the ball off to Warren for a run up the middle......lol

Both Warren and Gainwell had a great night and some big plays. Warren is starting to remind me of Leveon Bell. Delaying and then hitting the hole for some good yards. Warren seems especially good at seeing the gaps. Even when he gets tackled he will twist so that he can fall into an open slot that gets an extra yard or two. Always max effort from both.

The defense has been better without TJ Watt. A lot better. If anyone can explain that one to me, I am all ears.

I understand why the QB will take the play clock low late in the game when you need to burn time. Rodgers is doing it all game. I think that it caused him to use 2 timeouts tonight. Additionally, if you do the same thing every time, you will never catch your opponent off guard.

The 'no losing seasons' continues for the team and Mike Tomlin. Tomlin is now tied for 2nd with Belichick at 19. Two more to tie Landry at 21. The Steelers franchise now owns the record for a team at 22 non losing seasons. The next closest team on an active run is the Chiefs who are 9 years behind us and ended that run with todays loss to the Titans. Behind them is the Bills who last had a losing season in 2018. That means that the Steelers own this record for at least the next 15 years.

Gotta give the coaching a lot of credit MT just seems to never let the ship crash at least in the regular season. Need a Ravens loss tonight or at GB and we beat the Browns. Hosting a playoff game but I think we will be an underdog to whoever we play.

This will be the first season since 2018 that the Steelers won't have a three-game losing streak .

Normally I would say that smoking is bad for your health, but in this case you were probably more relaxed and experiencing less anxiety than those of us watching the game.....lol

Cook might just be, "one man's misfortune is an another man's opportunity!" Nothing about Aaron...he had another great night! The intangibles are off the charts!

The fans chanting "fire tomlin" finally brought some accountability and urgency for him. It's a good change.

Any ideas why YA Black flipped the bird to the Lions Sideline. I am assuming a Fine is coming as it was on National TV.

I didn't see anything on this highlight to explain why?

This. You aren't calling bad plays if Your D is dropping INTs on a drive. That's a player not taking advantage of the play call

You wait to snap the ball at the last second so the defense can't move in time for adjustments.

Maybe Dan Campbell should've kicked that FG in the first quarter instead of going for it on 4th down. Then at the end of the game a FG would've won them the game @Steelersfan43@Steelersfan43 your thoughts.

Steelers deserved the win, even if Lions pulled it out I don’t think I would have been mad.

Refs were bothering me in this game. I thought Lions ran a pick on their earlier TD as well, but was a no call. There were a few other weird calls…I thought that one Steelers OL player was behind the ball and not in the neutral zone.

Arthur Smith called a great game, got to give him his flowers.

I don’t have access to all22, but at the end there…Lions were running some plays where hardly any time was coming off the clock…seemed suspect to me.

    .

To me, I think this might be the most impressive thing on a mostly very impressive night.

Harmon is a beast. Looks like we finally hit on a 1st round pick again.

Run D with him is awesome. Without him, we basically don't have a run defense.

Credit to the coaching, this team looked dead in the water when they lost 3 of 4 starting with that Chargers loss.

Playing inspired football now and looking like a competent team.

Don’t be extreme. It didn’t make all the difference - in what world do you think it would make all the difference? lol

like I said, it brought urgency and accountability.
