What is the penalty for hitting a fan who is still in the stands?

Any history on this type of foul?

I still have no idea why DK was allowed to walk over there all by himself???

Lamar Jackson pushed fan and got away with it a few months ago.

1 Game suspension as I see it. He deserves it no less. No matter what an opposing fan says, always must rise above.

 

Pushing a fan vs. a punch are two different things.

If DK gets suspended, and he likely will—it’s unforgivable. Your teams fighting for the only playoff spot available and you let an opposing fan plant his teams banner inside your head. You have to be bigger than that. It’s selfish when an athlete gives precedence to his (negative) emotions vs the welfare of his team.

 

Better question is will we miss him?

 

1 game suspension at minimum and fine. Steelers have some of the dumbest humans playing WR over the years... AB, DJ, Pickens and now DK.

One game suspension and hefty fine because he whiffed. If he had really hit him I believe the punishment would be much worse

Fan brings a lawsuit against Metcalf, the Steelers and the NFL. Comes out that the fan called Metcalf the N word. Lawsuit is dropped and the fan is banned from the stadium.

Gonna guess that the fan said something far more offensive than his full name.

This feels like when everyone freaked out on Ramsey swinging on a dude. Then we found out he got spit on.
