McCarthy has been playing better these last couple games. He may start to really look like their franchise Qb next season.

as for Darnold, i think we shouldve nabbed him instead of AR.

Playoff humiliation contention is more like it. Sadly, I can barely remember the last time we played a competitive game in the playoffs. And he'd have far less wideout skill than he has now.

He would want to go to a team that knows how to play proper NFL offense. But I'm all for blowing up the coaching staff we have now and landing Burrow. I just don't see it happening.

That's not what I said. It's been since the 1980s since the Steelers were out of playoff contention already. I would think a guy that has played on a team that has been out of playoff contention half his career already would find that a nice change.

I believe Burrow said today when asked if he ever thought about playing for another team.
I think about a lot of things.
The Bengals fans must be sweating it. This will be a top all offseason.

For the Bengals it will be.

Lots of decisions to be made with that team. Mike Brown is way too conservative to make any form of real change on the Coaching Staff. As such, I suspect this isn't the last time that Joe Burrow comments on his future in the Queen City.

That said, Joe Burrow also had a hand in this as well. Having two number 1 WRs is nice from a production standpoint. However, losing out on obtaining good trench play severely hurts the Offense.

What would you give to get Joe Burrow, or would You not give up anything??

    Edit:
I know in all likelihood the Bengals would not allow a trade to the Steelers.

    Best he has ever looked.

I do think that the game could be slowing down for him. This all said, Dallas doesn't possess even a decent pass rush. Regardless, J.J. took some much needed steps and got some confidence back.

    Good question

I don't think the steelers are at a QB away to compete for the super bowl but it could change with some additions and improvements to their weaknesses

But the biggest problem, the Steelers would have no chance of getting Burrow since the Bengals are in the same division. But if I was sure that with Burrow, the Steelers would be true Super Bowl contenders for the next 3-5 years, I'd be ready for three first-round picks at least.Same for Josh Allen

I believe the Vikings are a possibility for Burrow,he would be a great fit for that team.

If Joe was of average health 2 firsts would certainly be fair

But isn’t he coming off his third significant injury

So I wouldn’t trade anything much and I wouldn’t guarantee the salary

Plus as said above Cincinnati ain’t not none going to trade him to us

Yeah this is sure his health would be a huge concern,so 3 first round pick is likely too much...Need to think more about that

With 3 firsts if you took a quarterback each time statistically you would have a good chance of getting one right

And they wouldn’t have had multiple injuries

And he would be 8-9 years younger

With him in the AFCN the last 3 years the Bengals have been 3rd of 4, 3rd of 4, and 4th of 4

    Keep him where he is

For that matter keep Lamar where he is

    Let the Browns be Browns

Since it’s in the division, the Bengals would ask for a king’s ransom. But I would offer two first and Watt

They dont suck because of him. The team could always get its **** together and then they’d have one of the best QBs in the league leading the way.

Agree. I don’t think the Bengals suck. Just bad luck with injuries. They still have core players from the 2021 team that narrowly lost the Super Bowl. It just that those players rarely play together due to injuries

I’ll stick with the facts of recent history

Not the possibility of the team getting its **** together

Ok but hes still not the reason they are losing :lolol:

Id rather they dont have a franchise QB. They can continue to lose with crappy QBs while searching for the next guy.

Why settle for Burrows when our HC has the uncanny ability to pick studs like Pickett in the draft?

Plus, I can’t see why any young QB with a potential high ceiling would want to come and play for Tomlin. Nope .. we get the has beens that no one else wants.

Would definitely be interested in Burrows if they first un-cuff us from the dead weight that is Tomlin.

"Burrows" wouldn't want to play for Tomlinson but he might have wanted to play for Cowherd. He definitely would have wanted to play back in the day for Chuck Knoll, maybe even Chuck Nox.
