Translation: I don't like the explanation I received so I'll pretend that I don't understand despite the fact that I've spent almost my entire life in football and have been told thousands of times that a catch is two feet down, control, and a football move.

As far as the Jones penalty, that was weak. However, in the following drive the Ravens got to third down, Hopkins ran right up to JPJ, grabbed hold of him as they both held on, and Porter got flagged. IMO that was weak and led to a TD instead of a FG attempt. Worked out even for them.

Anything that makes Hairball cry and whine is good in my book.

What's your point? Tomlin is proving the same. Even with HOF Ben (pre-bad arm) he couldn't win.

I still don't get your point. Do you mean that Harbaugh is worse than Tomlin? Could be, they both suck rocks, so that's hardly a glowing complement for Tomlin.

Tomlin needs GONE yesterday. I know you love you some serious mediocrity and playoff embarrassments, but even loving that stuff like you do, not sure how you can stump for Tomlin. There's nothing left there...the emperor has NO clothes.

He would understand it perfectly well if the Steelers had been on the receiving end of that call. He and his brother are the biggest whiners in the NFL. I love to see them come unglued.

If You don't understand the point in having a MVP under 30 on your team, let alone a 2 time MVP on your team , well.....I'm wasting my time. LoL

Only on Steelers and Ravens message boards are people trying to run HOF coaches outta town on a rail.

wonder if the Titans might like to have Vrabel back?

I would think since it's only a 17 game season every single HC has said to their team at some point, "if you win, you control your destiny". I'm sure Tomlin has said it. Right now he is probably saying. "b!tches I need at least 1 win and 1 tie and I'm good.;)

Or he could be like Todd Bowles after the latest loss:

“You gotta fu-king care enough where the sh-t hurts. It gotta fu-king mean something to you,” Bowles burst out during his post-game presser when asked about what message he will send the locker room. “It’s more than a job, it’s your fu-king livelihood. How well do you know your job? How well can you do your job?

“Well, you can’t sugarcoat that sh-t. It was fu-king inexcusable, and there’s no fu-king answer for it. There’s no excuse for it. That’s what you tell them in the locker room, to look in the fu-king mirror.”

[Bowles can expect a hefty fine for each F-bomb he dropped in his presser]

Just a reminder that this happened. Ben and Tomlin also went to a 2nd SB but lost against GB.

It's true that we didn't win as much as Brady-BillyB.

But just under Tomlin, we won as many SBs as Sean Peyton did with Drew Brees. And went to twice as many SBs. Yet I think many will call Peyton a better HC than Tomlin. I think they're basically the same. Just like I think Tomlin and Cowher are basically the same.

But Tomlin is kind of the reverse Cowher results wise. Cowher had his most painful playoff losses earlier and won late. Tomlin won early and had his most painful playoff losses late.

FWIW, I think this is mostly because of Ben in both cases.

In a more run-heavy NFL, Cowher could have regular season success without a very good QB, but couldn't win in the playoffs. Often losing heartbreaking games against worse teams at home.

Tomlin couldn't win playoff games with Ben as he took up more and more cap%. With some really ugly losses, particularly against the Jags and Browns where our offense scored for the other team. I think many also forget that we scored for the other team in the GB SB loss...remembering the Mendenhall fumble, but not the pick-6.

But we forgive Cowher, but not Tomlin. At least we don't forgive him yet.

I'd imagine that our next coach won't be able to avoid Tomlin's shadow...just like Tomlin will never be enough for some when compared to Cowher...and Cowher was never enough when compared to Noll.

    Likely was a td
Getting harder and harder to distinguish what a catch is anymore.
Just like Jesse James against Pats
    That was a catch

The Cleveland message board wants to sign Tomlin if he moves on

But for the Browns mediocrity would be a significant upgrade

Amy Adams Strunk would rather have a yes man than an actual leader of men. That woman was willing to run off the likes of Mike Vrabel. What does that say about other potential hopefuls?!

If I were an upcoming Coordinator who wants to be an NFL Coach, Tennessee is the very last place I'd want to be in. For that matter, I would rather be the Head Coach of the New York Jets or even Cleveland Browns than the Titans.

Yet, they are favored to beat NE by 3 points.

I see no way NE dos not play their best after losing to Bills.

Seems like easy money betting on NE this game.

You do realize the Patriots “ran” Billicheat out of town on a rail and immediately improved with Vrabel?

Not really the best example for keeping Tomlin and Hairball.

thats because the Steelers and Ravens need to rebuild their defenses and the Steelers need a franchise Qb on top of it. Bengals who were in the conversation have a often injured franchise Qb questioning his future with a defense in need of a serious rebuild as well. The coaches may all be on their way out. Its a division of has beens and one never was…

Missing the 4-13 Mayo disaster. Belichick also never had Maye. He picked Mac Jones. Kinda similar to the Pickett disaster.

Vrabel is a good coach. But it helps that he walked into a situation with a blossoming MVP caliber QB.
