    1. Overall, we bullied the Dolphins on both sides of the ball

    2. Speaking of bullying, DK Metcalf swatting Minkah Fitzpatrick off of him on his td was a thing of beauty

    3. For once I'd like to see us keep our foot on the gas for the entire 60 minutes

    4. Great job on the Dolphins run game

    5. Shout out to Dylan Cook at LT totally shutting down Bradley Chubb

    6. Nice to see Asante Samuel get his 1st pick

    7. Aaron Rodgers picked the dolphins' defense apart

    8. We may have scored on it, but we run the worst tush push in the entire league

    9. Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren ran well

    10. Bring on the lions!!!!!

I loved what I saw tonight. Tomlin managed his best game in years. He coached to win as opposed to not to lose. Run game could use more work and the defense played amazing. Zero complaints from me.

I think we might mail it in against the Lions. Hope not.

I would add Malik Harrison played very well. Also, 23 straight MNF home wins. That is amazing!

Always great here. Felt like the game turned on when Patrick Queen made the stuff on 3rd down in the 2nd quarter.

Could it be that instead of a first round draft pick or a former Pro Bowler, that our best LT play comes from a lowly practice squad player?

Remember that this was a banged up Steelers team going in. Magic number to clinch the division is either three- or simply, a win in week 18.

CLE game is clearly more important. But would be nice to win next week.

    5. They also left Cook one-on-one against
Chop Robinson b on at least one occasion. Neither one of those guys is a slouch.

Overall O line play was terrific. Both those early sacks were on Rodgers.

Crazy as it sounds, I was there!

The Steelers had made a dramatic rally from 20-0 to tie it at 20-20. That was Neil O'Donnell's coming out game. Unfortunately, the kick off went out of bounds on the last score, allowing the Giants to kick the winning field goal as time ran out.

I guess it makes a difference when you have competent QB play.

This is the first time the Steelers have won two games in a row since October.

    A couple of shoutouts.

    1. Ramsay had a very good and impactful game.
    2. Conner Heyward saw the ball on a few plays and made an impact with some key first downs, a TD, and the onside kick recovery that was a quarter of a second from being a Dolphins ball.
    3. I thought that Corliss Waitman had some good punts. He was putting the ball where it needed to be. Can't control the bounce, but at least the ball was where it needed to go to give our special teams guys a shot at making a great play. He had 1 bad snap that he pretty much picked up off the grass and still got it off for a good punt.
    4. No Joey Porter penalties!

The Dolphins tackled poorly for a lot of the game and we benefitted a lot from that.

3rd best rushing total for the Steelers this season and it was 40 yards more than the previous 2 games combined. Dolphins are 25th vs the rush on the season, but 8th since week 8.

I thought we kept our foot on the gas better this game than in past games. But, at about 13 minutes to play in the 4th quarter we shifted to a prevent defense. Miami did help us out with a poor use of timeouts, a lack of concern for the clock, poor play calls (or bad choices by Tua) that left players nowhere near the sidelines, and several plays that they fought for an extra yard or two rather than just stepping out of bounds.

Lucky that we did not seriously hurt a Miami player with that one low tackle. It almost looked like he was trying to break his leg. If the Miami guy had not managed to turn so that he could flex his knee, his season was over and maybe his career as well. It was going to be bad. I know that it is a game we are playing to win, but that seemed like a very poorly executed tackle. High risk of injury to the receiver and a decent risk of missing the tackle.

Aikman/Buck is the worst broadcast team out there. Aikman is always throwing out Captain Obvious points and sounds like the drunk guy at the bar who just has to share his useless knowledge.

This was one of our best defensive showings this season IMO. Less splash plays and better defense. It was done without TJ Watt and not what I expected. Something to think about.

I remember watching it at home. I remember LT was frustrated because the Steelers kept double teaming him, Hoge helping out with that, Frank Gifford saying there's no way the Steelers were going to let LT wreck the game. In fact, wasn't there some controversial call or something against the Steelers at the end?

Sure, was a lot of talk about that Dolphins running game the Steelers outgained them on the ground.

So Bill Cowher never lost a home MNF game, and so far neither has Tomlin. That is amazing.

Rodgers was very sharp from the middle of the second quarter on. He played like the veteran he is and used that amazing arm talent.

I didn't like the Steelers taking their feet off the gas, but it helped that the Dolphins refused to run a hurry-up offense until it was way too late.

I was also impressed with Cook and Gainwell. Warren's numbers weren't great, but he was sick, and he did have a big run called back.

Metcalf's touchdown is arguably the best all-around highlight play for the Steelers this season. From the throw into a tight window, to the sure-handed catch and the way he bullied Fitzpatrick. Gotta love it.

Spot on. why can all of us see that the tush push has sucked every single time they’ve done it and yet they continue to do it?
