I predicted Steelers to beat Seahawks earlier in the year. Also picked Steelers to beat Browns and Bengals (2nd time), IIRC.

I must be doing something right, because I'm in 3rd place in pick standings.

The steelers are so bad without Watt and Tua and the dolphins are awful in the cold but one will win tonight.....

It was making a joke about your relentlessly-negative posts. I know even you didn't expect them to be 0-13.

I'm relentlessly negative about the current Steelers, but I just posted some positive things about signing Metcalf instead of Aiyuk. The future is bright for Steelers if they upgrade HC and have a good draft in 2026.

We’ll see how they finish this season. Right now the Steelers have us fans feeling positive with their win over the rats but we’ve seen this script many times.

A flame out and 4 game skid to end the season would shock no one but if they finish strong and manage to win a playoff game, any chance of replacing Tomlin evaporates.

Tua get hit one good time in the cold and that's it for him. The Steelers normally come out the gate playing well. If they can take the phins out of the game early ... it should be enough to discourage them and come away with the win!

Tomlin will pull his normal choke as a favorite routine. Refs will help too because make division race tighter like bs interference calls in yesterdays pats-bills game. Dolphins get to stay alive for another week and shed Tua cant win in 18 degree weather. We will need GB and Pats to beat Ravens for us to have any shot . We are not beating rats for playoffs week 17 and detroit rolls us by 20 plus.

Replacing Tomlin may be the ultimate goal, but I would be happy to get competent coordinators and coaches

And stripped of his power. Focus on HC only. Roster building left to Khan/Wiedl and game planning primarily handled by coordinators.

Awesome so when they all come down with colds and fevers by tonight they can continue to flex about how tough they are.

Actually if His predictions came true we would be 3 -10 right now. I've kept up with his predictions.

I've kept up with all Your picks, and if You actually picked what You say, we would be 3-10, as your predictions have been. We can go over each one.

If I was wrong so many times... then why am I in 3rd place in pick standings? :confused1:

Because that has nothing to do with the picks as it does how close to the score.
That's why I stopped playing. You could pick wrong almost every week, but the games you actually pick right are closest to the points, and You could beat someone that pick the correct win, or loss every week, but doesn't get the correct scores. It has nothing to do with picking the win, or loss of games, but I think you know this.
I'm not trying to be mean, I like You, even if You are a chicken little. LoL.

We are also 1-13 when TJ is out. Wonder which losing trend wins out

I stopped doing almost everything but fantasy football for fun in 05 because of stuff like this. The did a pickem contest at work where it was pick your winners for the playoff bracket. I think the cash prize was 150 to the winner. I picked the Steelers to go the whole way and I think I missed an NFC team in the divisional round. Heading into SB week I had one wrong and Steelers to win, another guy had two wrong and the Seahawks. Literally couldn't get my money either that week or the week after because they weren't sure I won. I was pissed, one game wrong and the SB winner right and you think that two wrong and eventually a third means I might have lost. Anyway I got the cash and dont do anything like it anymore.

It's Monday night the Steelers dont lose on Monday nights so it will be 2-13 without TJ by tomorrow.

Watt is a shell of himself so him not playing these days probably isn't a big deal anymore.
