So there were some comments made by Burrow that have gotten people talking and comparing him to Andrew Luck walking away from the game early. I listened to it, I’ll post it below, I think people are probably taking big liberties with what he said but it does sound like he is tired of the Bengals. Now does that mean he wants to leave or try and work things out there or flat our retire, I dont know but in the spirt of this debate, what would you do to get him here? I cant see anyway in hell the Bengals working with the Steelers and giving us Burrow but everyone has a price I guess.

    Burrow’s comments:

He says he wants to have fun playing football.... I highly doubt throwing to the flat over and over and over and over would qualify as having "fun" playing football.

I heard this on the radio earlier. Crazy.
Everyone is talking like Andrew Luck, but I'm seeing a nicer Carson Palmer. Remember when he wanted out of the Bengals, and even retired until they traded him??
Hell he played for many more years after that.
I'd take Joe Burrow in a freaking heartbeat.

I would too. My only hesitation in terms of how much to pay would be injury risk.

Orlovsky is an idiot; there is no way in hell the Bengals would trade Burrow to the Steelers .

LOL... Just sayin... You closed the DK Metcalf vs GP thread, but you put this Joe Burrow thread in the Steelers Forum??? :)

I thought it was funny as just when the thread gets closed DK blows GP out of the water last week.

Too injury prone plus the Bengals would never let him become a Steeler. Signing his huge contract is somewhat detrimental to having success within the Bengals organization. The Bengals have a terrible scouting department and an even worse GM. He will never win a SB there and that is mostly the reason behind his frustrations. I think he really wants to cut ties but doesn’t really know how at this point in his career. No big deal though. He got paid.

Trade him to Cardinals or Saints.

He wants out of that paper tiger organization

If they traded Joe Burrow they would have to sell the team because not a single Bengal fan would show up to a game ever again. I know plenty of Bengals season ticket holders and I guarantee they would be forever done.

Bengals wouldn't trade Burrow to the Steelers even if the steelers offered their first round pick for the next 5 years. Stupid clickbait.

Love to have him as our QB. Questionable if he would have more fun with us

The bengals will trade him to an NFC team. Injury prone anyway.

    A) I didnt close it, TTF did, why dont you go complain to him.

    B) It was closed because it was nothing but fighting.

    C) Orlovsky floated the idea of the Steelers making a move for Burrow. Id say thats Steeler related.

This is a Mike Brown owned team. He would rather take dead money for 5 years and continue to lose than give anyone of his players what they want.

If he goes to a team that protects the QB, he will have less risk. He has hall of fame ability but can not stay healthy.

Here is the deal. We get Burrow and we give their MLB team Paul Skenes. Reds made Playoffs last season so Skenes gets to be on a real MLB team and we get a steady QB.

Good points made in this thread. Injury problem a big worry and who will he throw to?

TBH, I'd be jumping over the moon if Burrow was a Steeler.

Sorry Mike but I'd hope for a new HC who is in touch with the modern NFL.

Yeah, I give Steelers almost zero chance of acquiring him, 3 first rd picks is probably the starting point but Rams have shown they are willing to pay a kings ransom.
