Maybe. The Texans are getting hot, like Philly last year, and could make some noise.

The Texans are #1 in most defensive categories, but the Broncos lead in sacks.

His INT isn’t getting enough play in my opinion—mostly because of the Likely TD/non TD. That INT was big because it ultimately netted us a 2 score lead (that we all know we had to have just to have a chance)

Our defense is all over the place. However, like you all but said, they went berserk in the waning minutes rallying to the ball while really amping up their play. It’s too bad that’s more of an aberration these days versus the norm.

Sadly, I'd give that a go and so would Ravens fans I think. It's not a win-win. It's a play not to lose-play not to lose.

Oh yeah, they majority of fans wanted Harbaugh gone years ago, just like us and Tomlin. Both have failed miserably in the playoffs for a long time. The difference is the Ravens occasionally put up a 12+ win season and actually win a playoff game before laying an egg.

Tomlin just lays eggs constantly, even just shaving in the morning.

It's like one of those Ravens quotes said, they CAN run the ball, they just don't. I can't imagine anything more frustrating then having a monster of an RB (even if a bit old for RB) that can run like the wind and never giving him 25+ carries. Bad OL or not, feed him and keep feeding him. He gets 25 carriers, he likely has a 30 and 50 yard TD run in there, even with a dozen tackled-for-loss and 2 and 3 yard meh runs.

Why the against the rules @Clive From PIT@Clive From PIT ??
I wasn't talking politics, You should know I hate politics, both sides. I was just using that as an example, and referring to both sides , not picking a side. I just used that because millions of people on both sides totally disagree, to show that just because a lot of people believe something, doesn't make it correct, either way.

I just don't understand that either. The guy has got incredible strength, great vision and burst speed. He can also hold that speed for a pretty lengthy time on a long run. He has always been one of my favorite running backs in the nfl. He showcases exactly what you want in a running back.

Well if You look back, it all comes down to , not always getting what You wish for is a good thing.
For years Ravens fans, and media Lamar Jackson fans said that OC Greg Roman's style of football was antiquated, and He really relied on the run game too much, and they needed someone to come in , and run a modern passing game, and well...... Here you go.

Wasn't it just last season that Monken was get touted as a genius? I believe he was tabbed as the next big thing for the HC hiring cycle.

I know I risk throwing this into ANOTHER "Steelers coaches" argument thread...but does it seem like these wunderkind or guru coaches sometimes come in and have a season or two of success....then folks get tape on them or injuries set in and suddenly it all evaporates.

Makes those that sustain their success (say McVay, Shanny the Younger, defensive dude in Seattle, LaFleur) more impressive.

Look at the 4th quarter for the Baltimore offense. It was a train wreck. Even after the Likely call, they still had multiple opportunities to get a first down or a TD on that continuing series. And it was not a good series of play calls.
Then the final Ravens drive was one of the most aimless and dispirited two minute drills I've seen a team stumble through in a long time.

Ravens have no excuse. They have their franchise QB in LJ. Steelers have been playing "rent a QB" since 2022. Steelers could be searching for years. It's been 4 seasons without a franchise QB. We went 21 years between Bradshaw and Roethlisberger.

The Ravens just gave Harbaugh a 3 year extension before this season so it is unlikely their owner will can him after this season. So on the Ravens message board they are wanting to start a Go Fund Me page for the Ravens owner to pay off Harbaugh's contract, lol.

The Ravens have a franchise QB who is a two-time MVP and fails in the playoffs.

I dont think it'll be that long to wait again. We should be able to nab a franchise Qb within the next few years. Qb’s are supposed to be more NFL ready these days. Having a sharp offensive minded new HC will certainly help.

We got lucky with Ben. With Bradshaw we had the first pick in the draft because we were the worst team in the league - so it was hard to miss on that pick.
