This news was likely from Tomlins camp. Reminds me of a season or two ago where a close friend of Tomlins was saying he is interested in walking away.

Who knows what to make of it though, he didnt walk away then so maybe he wont now either but strange that his agent would leak this.

I think discussion will happen for his future between Tomlin and Rooney after this year for the first time ever

btw, they were talking on a podcast about a sideline incident between Rodgers and Tomlin during the last game. Said Rodgers came to the sideline and had a heated jawing with Tomlin about something. Guy said it was the first time he saw a player confront Tomlin during a game since Roethlisberger's days. Said Tomlin didn't jaw back.

Anyone else see this or is this guy overhyping the situation?

I didnt see that and this is the first I have heard about it. Wouldn’t surprise me though. Last season Rodgers had that moment that went viral when he shoved the coach away from him that was trying to celebrate a TD.

I saw it, but it didn’t look like a big deal. I didn’t get the sense that he was yelling at Tomlin, but venting to Tomlin about something that had just happened on the field.

CA3 caught a pass on the sideline for a first down. AR knew that the catch wouldn't stand if it were challenged. So AR was rushing the team to the line to try and get a play off and salvage the first down. Not only did Smith not get a play in, but he was trying to sub and AR couldnt get the ball snapped before the Ravens challenged.

AR flipped out on the sideline, and did confront Tomlin, but I believe his anger was directed toward Smith.

You're podcast guys are reaching. Yes Rodgers had some words for Tomlin, but they were warranted given the situation.

We've seen the Steelers botch that exact same situation numerous times over the last few years. I was glad Rodgers was vocal in that situation.

Its definitely a strange situation as Steelers PR claimed they intend on exercising the 27 option right before the game on Sunday. Tomlin could've used the media as a tool to motivate the team, or perhaps he just might be ready to head to a place like NY to coach the Giants or head to TV and make as much or more $$$ being in the booth.

I saw he was angry on the field after they threw the challenge flag but didnt see the sideline part but I agree, he was right, should have gotten that play off.

If we host a playoff game and it goes the way the last Bills@Steelers game went, I'd have to think Tomlin will spend a good amount of time considering the "walk away" option. We've been humiliated a bunch of times in wildcard playoff exists. But never in front of a home crowd chanting, "Fire Tomlin" and booing Renegade.

There is no excuse for us not winning the division this year.

Circumstances beyond our control have set us up for an undeserved division title, go at least 9-8 and Tomlin to save face (who here believes if Burrow goes the whole year uninjured, we would be in this position?).

Win division and winning season is bare minimum to not be a complete disgrace.

Same, and I even went back, and looked at it right after it happened. Looked like they were both discussing it
