He is technically on their books for 24 hours.

    No bail for Hernandez.

    Yikes! Held without bail!

Too funny, the defense lawyer charges that the DA is lying about the strength of the evidence but then he promptly lies himself to the judge stating that Hernandez has a clean record, etc. Tell that to the guy he shot in the arm and face. lol

Hernandez is up the creek or should I say pond on this one. My guess is they wouldn't have arrested him unless they had a pretty tight case. What a complete and utter MORON!!!

Maybe Goodell can have Hernandez speak from behind bars at the 2014 rookie symposium. This is what happens if you keep living the "thug life".

Yeah, the DA listed some pretty impressive supporting evidence. Hernandez looked as disinterested as someone could look being arraigned for murder, at first. That is, until they started giving details from various surveillance cameras across the county, the texts, and the evidence from the car rental outfit. His body language and facial expressions changed significantly after that.

What evidence? This computer is running really slow and I can't watch anything. It keeps acting like it's trying to load something because it has this little swirly circle thing beside the arrow you use to point at stuff. I don't know why it's doing that but it's keeping me from being able to watch videos without it stopping every few seconds.

    SMH...terrible.

While i do not like the Pats...I hope that someway they are able to get money back from this kid. I read that since they cut him like they did that they can't now. But I'm sure they could find a way to some back. He doesnt deserve it thats for sure.

Even if they can't get it back the vast majority will go towards attorney fees for criminal/civil suits.

No way man. You take the hit. There were signs he was a bad egg. Why should they get a get out of jail free card. Pun intended.

I did get to watch it. Thanks. I'm getting REALLY spotty internet in this hospital room. I've got my 3ds and it won't even hardly connect at all. From what they have said here he is pretty dang screwed I would say. What's really sad is that he tries to portray him as some upstanding citizen who just HAPPENS to go clubbing like a little college kid while his child is at home. He just stands there all cocky looking with his head leaned back like some "gangsta" but hopefully he won't look so cocky when he's spending the rest of his life in a cage. They place him at the scene. His prints are on the gun. His prints are found on a bullet in a dumpster. What part of that is "circumstantial"? It's crap like this that makes me despise defense attorneys. They're only supposed to make sure that you get a fair trial. They shouldn't try to get someone out of murder when they are obviously guilty.

Does this make anyone else besides me really appreciate Heath that much more?

Nope, never thought about Heath for a second. I thought about Shamarko and how people are wired differently, he suffered more then Hernandez did and Shamarko rose to the occasion and did the right thing and Hernandez became a scum bag.

Here's Hernandez back story if interested, his dad died when he was a kid which set him on tis path.

While upbringing has a lot to do with how people end up, people still can make good or bad decisions. In this case Hernandez I think continued to make bad decisions from his younger days and it eventually caught up to him. You see this happen a lot, in which someone hits it big from a rough neighborhood but yet does not get rid of his old buddies and the kid that hit it big is dragged back into the mess they were trying to get away from. From what I read if this is true he really is a gang banger and not some wannabee. Killed the person execution style. That is not for the faint of heart. That is done by hardcore criminals.

A lot of dad's die leaving young kids behind, but they can't use that as an excuse to go out and live the lifestyle of a murderous thug and a gang banger. We all make decisions every day of our lives that impact us and those around us. I have little sympathy for Hernandez because he was handed the golden ticket out of his violent and checkered past and he blew it! How many kids are growing up in the hood that will neve have the opportunity to become a multi-million dollar professional athlete but still choose to make the right decisions day in and day out. Hernandez CHOSE to continue to be a thug even after the Pats gave him a way out. And now it appears that he's orchestrated the murder of an acquaintance over something as stupid as Hernandez not liking who he talked to at the club a couple of nights before. And he shoots another guy in the face, accidentally of course, after an argument they had at the strip club. This cannot get any more pathetic!

Yeah. If you go out and put four in the chest of your fiancee's sister's boyfriend, over not being happy with what he might have said to someone, odds are you've 'popped a cap in someone' once or twice before.

My question is- how can the Patriots not know before now that their high paid TE is a wanna be gangsta? Also, with his history of character issues, how do they give him a huge guaranteed signing bonus with no "off-field" protection language?

Perhaps NFL teams don't do a lot of homework on guys already on the roster. They are grown men after all, they likely pay very little attention to their lifestyle provided it doesn't become public. Hernandez's gang affiliation was never really public info.
