didnt he already have an issue where he shot someone in the arm and in the eye? i thought i heard that on the radio. not sure if it was an accident or what, but there might be a history of issues there that wont help his case.

I believe that's part of the NFL's new inmate exchange program. :hmmm:

What's really irritating is that they issue a warrant for his arrest and he's still not in jail. If any of us had a warrant issued for us and they knew where we were they would come and get us. How is he any different?

There is also talk that police think he may have had a hand in another homocide back in '07 so it looks like he has some trouble. That said, if he somehow manages to stay out of jail I want to see at least a 6 game suspension, Ben get 4 games for being accused and this clown has already been charge with obstruction of justice.

I'm just so glad this doesn't involve the Steelers, about time the negative spotlight falls on another team :dancing:

Oh the irony of Hernandez being in trouble for destroying video.

Somewhere in there is a really good joke.

I just personally find it tacky and off putting. I just don't think any truly respectable person would do that to themselves. It's just a personal peeve of mine. I have friends that have tattoos and they know what I think about them but it doesn't stop me from being friends with them. My mom just always taught me not to write on myself and that rule still sticks with me to this day. I personally don't think you should do things to draw attention to yourself. I also don't like when men get all pumped up on roids. I also don't like when women go and have some surgeon put things in their body that wasn't there to start with. I'm just an old fashioned person that believes in modesty. I don't want my wife going out of the house looking like a Kardashian and I wouldn't want my daughter to dress like the styles of this generation either. I'm a 31 year old with the mind of a 75 year old and I'm totally fine with that. LOL.

So funny to see this topic, I always wonder what people covered in ink will look like when they get older, I've seen older guys but never a woman, well today I saw about a 60 year old woman with her arm covered in tattoos and I thought to myself, yep, looks just like I thought it would, it's not a very good look :lolol: (for either gender).

I don't get the sleeves but a tattoo here and there I think is fine.

I really think it becomes like an addiction for people. I've heard people can have the same addiction for plastic surgery. A lot of people try to say that Michael Jackson got addicted to it but I think that's crazy. I don't even think he EVER had surgery. He just naturally looked that way.

Tats can be addictive. I swore after I got my first one that I'd never get another one because it hurt so bad. 4 tats later...

BFT - I think it is pretty close-minded to judge someone negatively because they have tats. I know plenty of people with poor character and lack self-respect that don't have any tats and I'm sure you do too.

Some people get tats just to get tats but there are also people that get them to celebrate heritage, culture and passions as well as remember good times or maybe difficult times in their lives.

He doesn't keep it all. The most he can keep is 2.5 million of his 12.5 million signing bonus. The new CBA only protects against termination due to skill, injury, or salary cap termination. It doesn't protect against personal conduct related termination. The CBA also lists incarceration as a forfeitable breach of contact and salary that has been paid, but hasn't been accounted for yet, which would be 2.5 million for him.

They definitely need to keep him under contract, regardless of what happens, because releasing him will accelerate his bonus money, and put them on the hook for it now.

I'm with ya! I told my 20 something niece that the cute butterfly now on her shoulder blade will be a pterodactyl on her butt cheek by the time she's 60. Gravity does bad things to the skin!

Forgot it was 12 mil. Yes, but isn't it nice to see the team that thinks ahead so much, missed out on clause in his contract.
