Yep. TJ did. I don't think he would have been able to get to him and his teammates damn sure should have already been heading that way.
Pickens' laziness is far worse and it will be his ethic throughout his career.

If George Pickens only put in the amount of effort you put into this.
    That would be something special.

Mike Tomlin and the Steelers knew exactly what they were getting when George slipped in the draft because of his attitude problems.

Reminds me of people who buy houses near the airport and then a few years later are at a Town meeting complaining about the noise from the airport.

An old Mike Tomlin wants nothing to do with his players anymore. George Pickens needs a coach that can me on his ass 24 hours a day; Mike Tomlin used to be that coach.

FWIW with all the talk this season about Pickens going to a better situation with a real offense, this season will be the first time in his career playing in games with no playoff implications. I would not be surprised at all if we see some classic Pickens behaviour.

George Pickens is SOFT and there is no one who likes SOFT football players.

We could have Justin Jefferson on our team and find it hard to get a 1,000 yard receiver. GP was here 3 years and only eclipsed 1,000 yards once. We fix our offense a bit (and get some better QB play) and we will have 1,000 yard receivers again.

Just from from the last game against the Bills.

    1) Wide receiver DK Metcalf was slapped with the biggest fine at $14,491 for unsportsmanlike conduct.
    2) Captain Cameron Heyward was hit with an $11,593 fine for taunting.
    3) Payton Wilson, meanwhile, was hit with two fines for unnecessary roughness. Two $7,066 fines totaling $14,132.

Mike Tomlin has no control over his players and people think that George Pickens was the problem. There is no doubt in my mind that if GP was still here, he too would be fined as this team has gone completely off track with Tomlin running this Out-of-Control Crazy Train.

It wasn't fatigue. Watt was playing through multiple injuries during that ugly stretch at the end of last season. Unfortunately, his level of play has also declined a great deal. No, I don't think he is taking plays off when he is on the field. PIckens does, and he still should have been kept and the Steelers should have adapted their offense to feature him. If he was still a Steeler, he would be the best player on that offense by a significant margin.

This post should read : “Cancerous head case over DK this week”

It kills me to admit this because as much as I wanted him gone last year, I didn’t want him gone until we had solidified a viable replacement. That said, I blame a lot of his actions—not all, to be clear—on coaching. A redundancy of incorrigibility is a reflection of your head coach.

EDIT: Besides Antonio Brown, Pickens had the best hands I’d ever seen as a Steelers WR. I said this before, and I will reiterate , he will continue to be nothing more than flashes of the best WR you’ve ever seen….and more like the lazy route running immature crybaby he is. Greatness will never overcome his overall heart and maturity—and even if it eventually does, it will be too late. By then he’ll be retired.

Bro... this is no longer Steeler related... Mods, PLEASE... put this garbage on other team talk and call it a day. It is a war crime that this is still on the front page of STEELERS TALK.
