Pickens was half ass running routes last night. Guy still is having a great season but now that Dallas is eliminated let’s see how he ends the year.

Of course he can but it’s the effort on that route, the same criticisms he faced here are starting to appear in Dallas and thats with him in a good situation. Imagine how he would be acting in the Steelers dysfunctional offense.

No one is saying he’s not an amazing talent but he does have issues, both things can be true.

You keep assuming the Steelers offense would like like it does without him if he was still there. That assumption makes no sense.

No your assumption that it would look different in the face of all the evidence that it wouldnt is what doesnt make sense.

I'm not assuming it would look different. This is all about what the Steelers should have done. They should have kept Pickens and they should have adapted the offense to take advantage of having both Pickens and Metcalf.

You are assuming they couldn't adapt the offense, which makes no sense.

Yeah and what gives you faith in that assumption? After all the ineptness we have seen from this staff? Not to mention a wide open offense clearly isn’t something they are interested in running, if it were they never would have hired Smith in the first place.

That's what I have been saying the whole time, but some fans don't want to hear it because they say Pickens is talented and they should've kept him anyway.

No, Khan should've found a suitable replacement for Pickens.

37 yards is the Bar this week for DK. I don't remember the last time DK actually had a better week than George Pickens; lately we have been having to compare the entire Steeler WR room against George.

George Pickens is already over 1,000 yards, are any of the Steeler WRs even going to get close to that mark this year?

Only 37 yards and DK picks up a win over GP this week. Should be a slam dunk right???

On the Prime broadcast, they mentioned GP has more yards than the whole Steelers WR room combined. That stings mainly b/c our offense has been so bad lately

yes - well, he should have. I really thought Wilson would step up - that he and Austin would be suitable. Plus a strong running game. Smith at TE has been a failure. The offense has generally sucked.

and Metcalf has only been a B or B-. He drops every 5th pass.....

    the D has REALLY SUCKED.....since week 1......

Against the Lions last night, 5 catches for 37 yards, not giving 100% and a personal foul! Yep, shoulda kept that guy!

I have friends who are Cowboy fans. When the trade happened and they asked, my answer was "you'll love his play on the field, but the negative is his attitude."

Since then, I get texts constantly that are either "love this guy, how did you guys let him go?" or "WTF is wrong with this guy?"

37 yards, an OPI, called out for half-assing a route. If only there was a shot of the sideline with Broderick Jones having to settle him down the national audience would have had the full Pickens experience last night.

Pickens is getting blasted on First Things First today for his lazy play last night and him basically shutting down in the Cowboys biggest game of the year. Nick Wright said that he has never saw a player that physically talented but so mentally immature.

Now that Dallas is basically out of the running we'll see if Pickens truly has matured in these remaining games.

He is lazy and dumb. In a contract year on a nationally televised game he should have balled out, especially when Lamb went down.

How about the lazy attempt to start the second half that turned into an int.?

Some team will sign him for 30 large per year, a lot of it guaranteed.

It won't be the Steelers. They should try and get Carnell Tate.

I think Smith has a lot to do with Wilson lack of involvement. Im hoping someone will lure Smith away for a HC job but with how bad this offense is, probably won’t be any interest in him. Still going to hope though.
