If we lose to the Ravens.

We are officially on life support. A losing season is likely. Some coaches better update their resumes.
Recent X Steelers that we traded are doing very well. IE. Pickens and Dotson. Just think of how much better our sorry offense would be with them.

 

The only chance the steelers can win this game is if the ravens beat themselves and commit several turnovers... The last time the Steelers scored over 20 points against the Ravens was in 2020.

The ravens are likely to have over 200 rushing yards if their OC don't forget to run the ball and Lamar will just need to hit the wide open guy at a normal rate to win

 

Ravens better start their practice squad tackles.

I’ve had some success this week at remaining somewhat optimistic. However, as the week progresses my mind is settling back into resignation.

 

I’m starting to think that a blocking bag could chip TJ Watt and a cone could take the second path. Boy has he become irrelevant lately. The forced fumble in the EZ used to be the norm now that pressure comes about every 6th game.

I wouldn't be surprised with anything in this game.

If we get destroyed like we did in the playoff game last year...well, this is kind of what I am expecting.

But I also thought we'd get run over by Indy and GB. So I wouldn't be surprised if we can contain the run and we squeak one out right at the end.

And while I think it's by far the lowest probability, I wouldn't really be surprised if our D (which isn't great at stopping teams, but gets a bunch of splash plays) forces the Rats into a game where they turn the ball over a bunch and we win by more than a TD.

The Steelers are kind of random. And they tend to do the opposite of what I think they're going to do.

 

I think we pull out the win, bounce back game, and we always play the Ravens close... but I suspect we botch it up somewhere else down the road.

 

Years ago an announcer said the Jets would lose rest of their games. Memory shaky but I think they lost out. Can't remember announcers name.

Heard it a few times that the Steelers will lose out from people BSing. Even if Rodgers healthy Browns and Dolphins will give us hell. And it may be Rudolf to guide us thru the night.

Maybe Steelers lose out, maybe they don't but the 21 straight season thingy is all over.

 

The funny thing is both teams are so disappointing and lack consistency that they could try their best to give away the game to the other team. We could literally end up with most points coming from turnovers. Could be a manure game in a puddle of cat puke with a topping of flies.

 

Jackson is dealing with multiple injuries so he is definitely not 100%

Its Henry i'm worried about. This defense is a sieve

 

Can you pressure the front office for this to happen sooner than later? Oh yeah, and pluralize it!

 

Baltimore has the key weapon needed to defeat Pittsburgh; Derrick Henry. He did so in the AFC Wild Card game a season ago. He is capable of doing so again.


Contrary to popular belief, age hasn't caught up with Derrick Henry yet. How inefficient he has been used is another matter. Against Pittsburgh?! Without their best, and I repeat, best IDL in Derrick Harmon?!


Henry is going to go off like a Hydrogren Bomb.

 

Today was our 67th day at school. I wore my Ben jersey and added a 6.


I told the kids that are Ravens fans that 6-7 will be their record after this week.

That is what we have done all season. Give opposing QBs their best game of the season. For variety, we sometimes show the love to opposing RBs who get to have their best game of the season. Jackson and Henry. This game could be very very painful for Steeler fans.

 

You can't fix this mess in one offseason. Colbert's drafting is finally catching up to us.

 

If we give up 200 yds on the ground and AR is thinking more about retirement than this game how are we supposed to win?

 

It isn't just primarily Colbert though. Tomlin has played his fair share in this mess; much more so in recent seasons. This season is by far his worst in terms of Free Agency Acquisitions. Only good one has been Ramsey... and I use good loosely here.
