Rush Yds Allowed by Direction

    Steelers pretty much meh in run defense. And it's not like teams are targeting a weak spot on the DL. The middle has at least put up some fight most weeks.

    # of games the rush yds >50 yards:
    • Left side: 4 games
    • Right side: 5 games
    • Middle: 2 games

    And those numbers are skewed as Buffalo ran that same play, over and over, and over.....

    Am I reading that correctly....looks like the team is at the NFL average everywhere but the middle?

    Yeah they were scared to run it more than that!!!!
    We had them right where we wanted them!!!
    even double dared them and they chickened out ppppppppppppussies

    Was listening to yesterday's Terrible Podcast this morning (not done yet). But Alex said that in the 3 games that Harmon has missed, we've given up ~ 600!!!! yards rushing.

    Checking:
    • Bills: 249!!!
    • Seahags: 117
    • Jets: 182
    • Total: 548 (182.7 ypg)

    Total rush yards allowed for the season: 1,412 (117.7 ypg).

    With Harmon: 864 yards (96 ypg)

    And it's not like we're facing scrubs when he's playing. Those games include some of the best backs in the league GB and IND.

    And when the Steelers comically overloaded that side to counter, the Bills just ran it to the weak side left pretty much unguarded.

    It should be. This is the same guy that was fired from Cincy after three straight games yielding 500 yards.
