    ?!

    End of the Tomlin Era?!

That isn't happening until 2027. He is going to coach in 2026. Teryl Austin will be the sacrificial lamb.

And Smith is lined up to be the next sacrificial lamb.

Tomlin has at least 3 more seasons unless he quits.

I'm only 55 (for another several weeks at least), but I'm pretty resigned to the fact that I've probably seen my last Superbowl win.

Tomlin is only under contract for two more years; Smith deserves to be fired can't scheme his best WR open plays Jonnu over Muth who is the better player.

    I didn't say he shouldn't be fired.

But there's ALWAYS a convenient coordinator drawing fire for our head cheerleader.

They'll extend Tomlin just for laughs next year.

He’s being paid $16,000,000 a year. The only thing he is quitting is just plain caring. Rooneys are too loyal to fire him.

Steelers only have two more home games left. People of Pittsburgh would need to make a resounding statement in not showing up for those two games.

Likely wouldn't be enough though. They would have to make a full season statement next year because Rooney won't fire him.

He’s not that stupid. I don’t know a single person that would resign in his situation.

You’re not going to scheme anyone open avoiding the middle of the field like the plague. They finally used the middle of the field on their last drive and moved the ball well. Unfortunately they stalled out in the red zone.

Bottom line is that Tomlin needs to go.
The coordinators are irrelevant under Tomlin at this point.

It would be pretty dam greedy or cheap,of the Rooneys to keep him on for the sale of the contract. As a responsible organization you don’t let a guy that is essentially a lame duck coach draft your franchise QB. A new coach should be given the opportunity to draft his guy and put in his system. It literally would be prolonging g the agony. We are positioned perfectly to start the rebuild next year. Why would you have Tomlin around for that?

    Why?!

Answer; Rooney's don't fire Head Coaches. For that matter, they haven't since Chuck Noll. Noll left on his own terms. Cowher left on his own terms. It is very much likely that Tomlin will leave on his own terms as well.

AR II isn't going anywhere anytime soon to compound the issue. Only way he does is if he steps down and DMR III takes over. Until then?! Expect more of the same.

That likely may have to happen. He looks like ****. The stress has been slowly killing him, you can see it in his face.

Andy Reid is this overweight plumper and he hasn't aged in years. Actually looks better than he did 5 years ago. Maybe winning does that.

We’ve seen a lot of things in the last couple years that the Steelers haven’t historically done.
I wouldn’t rule out a change in the normal handling of the Head coach position.

Agree on the MOF comment. Sad that they didn’t target Frieirmuth a single time today. Game plan is a joke. Actually there never is a game plan.

Firing Matt Canada was definitely something shocking but that was necessary.

Firing Teryl Austin wouldn't shock me though. That will be of necessity.

Firing Tomlin?! The end of the year?! I would be in utter disbelief!!

    We?!

This is AR IIs Team. Therefore, he is gonna continue to stink until he changes his ways. If the game is too much for him?! Step down and give the reigns to DMR III.

Otherwise, things will get worse before they get better; Draft being in Pittsburgh or not.

Look at how active we’ve been in trades the last few years. How active we’ve been in free agency. Stuff we rarely did in the past. This very well could be Tomlins last season.
