I have concerns with Harmon and Jones being out.

That’s a real good point. Steeler fans get incredibly high…..and low……during a short stretch of games. ‘NUMBER TWO SEED!!!’ when we’re 4-1, then we suck when we lose two games.
Steelers fans have unusually high expectations every year. Maybe unrealistic high expectations that you don’t see in any other fan base.
I reply to Steelers haters on compuserve and other boards, ‘May your fan base someday be disappointed when your team doesn’t go deep in the playoffs every year’

That’s true and SteelHack used to always say that on this board. “give me the team that’s on a roll and injury free going into the playoffs.”

    Why
1 is a rookie with little play and the other is a BUST?

My biggest concern is playing a home game in wintry conditions and the away team has better grasp on footing than the home team.

that's how silly our performance can be

i remember a couple of months ago some people talking about these teams that have a better chance than we do every year. they are consistent and have so much of a better chance than us. well, well, well as i said then does it matter if you don't win the super bowl? but they have a better chance every year than we do. ebb's and flows. detroit, baltimore, cinci, buffalo, philly, KC, all beatable and struggling. any given sunday. this game is still played on the field, so you never know. i guess we wait and see.

The problem is, while some teams are regressing like the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens, other teams that were at the bottom for a few years are now great teams (at least this year) like the Broncos and Patriots, but the Steelers are still stuck in the middle... It's annoying.

Just went through the playoff simulator and there is a real chance that CIN could actually win the division. They pretty much have to end up 9-8 by winning out. Their offense is good enough to do it. Steelers and Ravens then at 8-9.

Winning their next game in Buffalo will be hard for them....Buffalo are a complete different team when they are at home...they are like 15-1 at home since last year

I was like "did i base my predictions off the wrong location gotta go change them ?!?!? WTF
Winning in Baltimore is a great confidence boost for Cincy to take care of Buffalo in Buffalo IMO

To me, I think the Steelers have the easier remaining schedule vs the Ravens.

when the teams that are in their division start looking average,( 49ers, Miami, and the others we are discussing) are these teams really that much better or are the top dogs regressing making these teams look better than they really are? is it teams jumping ahead or so called strong teams getting average. salaries and injuries come around to hurt teams at some point which could make average teams look better than they really are. we beat the colts and new england this year. they were these so called now great teams a few weeks ago. nothing lasts forever in this league.

The Bengals are 3-0 under Burrow this year, if the Steelers lose to the Bills on Sunday then the Bengals are only 2 games out of first place with 5 more to play.

How crazy would it be if Bengals win their first SB entering Playoffs with an 8-9 record.;)

I'm glad we faced the Burrow-less Bengals or they would have beat us twice.

I was also thinking that might be true.

Also thinking our division might be won by a team finishing 9-8.

Rats will probably lose to Bungles again now that they have Burrow back. Also lose to Colts and Pats. 9-8 at best for them.

Bungles will finish strong like last year but will lose a game at least and do 8-9 at best.

We have a real shot at winning the division.

Their defense stinks but they've played well in the 3 games Burrow has started. I don't what the correlation is between great QB play and the defense playing better but it does happen.
