I didnt get to see the game but this is sure good to read. Some positivity in a season of negativity.

This season was always fools gold. It’s about the future, get those trenches built and continue building out the roster from there.

If we are lucky, the rumors that MT wants to move on will be real. Get a new coach and staff in place, with a little luck land a QB. Couple more seasons maybe we are playing good football again and contending.

    Surprising.
Well the weather will be sloppy this weekend.
run game going to be key it seems.
I hope Warren is able to handle the load.
    No Jones this weekend

Impossible! It was posted multiple times on this board alone that Jones is a bust

Need to trust the o-line more in this case in the passing game....Need to stop to always throw quick short pass and trust the o-line more

So were the happy feet and quick throws behind LOS Rudolph’s fault, game plan…? Does Washington count as part of the OL because he got owned a couple of times by Sweat.

Yep, they rushed for 186 yards and only gave up two sacks. Unfortunately, Broderick is out this week and maybe longer.

He did, but it’s a mistake to have him singled up on Sweat multiple times.

I think this line has the potential to be one of the best in the league. This line is young. All that is needed is the right offensive line coach to get the most out of these guys. There has been a lot of draft capitol used on this group. Hopefully the Steelers don't waste these guys

I seen some all-22 and gotta say the Steelers had chances, but the QB was either gun shy in pulling the trigger (wide open Metcalf in the MOF several times) or he badly misfired on throws. Sad part is most of those were clean pocket plays. Not a good day for the QB.

PA should help open the passing game. But only when running the ball is successful. Our run game does have its moments, but generally it has not been impressive. I would say improving though. Just inconsistent.

We've been above average to pretty good in the red zone.

I did notice in that bad loss to Da bears that when Rudolph dropped back he had time. Jones out with a neck injury, hope that’s not a long term deal.

That is why I can't pick them against the Bills, well besides Josh Allen rampaging on this defense.

Broderick being out reduces the effectiveness of the running game, which is the Bills weakness on defense. We don't throw past ten yards and stay to the sidelines. The Bills have the 2nd ranked pass defense, so they are going to load extra support at the line to stop the run.

We know Mike Tomlin won't change, he is as flexible as Boxer from Animal Farm (I will run the same play harder) and next thing you know, we are down two scores.

Yeah Mason misfired badly on a deep ball to Wilson where Wilson had seemingly won the rep.... A good throw might've been a TD there. The OL held its end of the bargain, the rest of the offense really didn't.

Hoping Rodgers is back next week and see if he can get more out of what is available.

The Bills have some injury concerns of their own.

80 was wrongly blamed on one sack that I saw posted. Rudolph ran into it, his pocket awareness has always been a flaw of his.

He didn't even need to run. It was a clean pocket and two WRs were open. He was just not seeing the field well. Maybe why he is a backup.

Broderick getting hurt was the very last thing this Offense needed. Cohesion along the Offensive Line is so important no less. Despite that, if there has been a bright spot for the team (more often than not anyway) since Week 6, look no further than the big men up front.

Among them?! Zach Frazier without question. As far as I am concerned, dude is playing at a Pro Bowl Level. He should get a nod this season. Troy Fautanu wont but I suspect a Pro Bowl is also in his future health permitting. Mason McCormick has had more ups than downs this season no less.

That just leaves Broderick Jones. His start to the season has been a disaster. However, he has really turned it on since Week 6. Hasnt been pretty nor Pro Bowl worthy but he is on the upswing.

If Pittsburgh is to return to compete in the AFC?! As @Blast Furnace@Blast Furnace stated, a new voice will be needed; specifically an Offensive Minded one. May need to address IOL much earlier as well; OT the same.

If Tomlin does move on, fans better be prepared for probably 3 years of continued lackluster performance. A new head coach is not going to just come in and instantly take us to the super bowl.
