    This would be true except that, historically in his Offenses, Arthur Smith has attacked the MOF very much so. Mason Rudolph also alluded to the fact that he should have used the MOF more. While Arthur Smith did call a bad game, or at least had bad play calls during the Chicago game, he isn't solely the issue.


    Mike Tomlin's risk-adverse nature is.

    Yes, that’s what I said. Tomlin, not Smith. That’s not to say that I think Smith’s system without the Tomlin influence is necessarily great, but it’s got to be better than the ultra risk averse approach we’re taking now.
