I don't think he has any experience.
I think experience matters. Wouldn't mind him as an assistant maybe.

 

I'm ok with James in a consultant or assistant edge coach but anything beyond that is crazy considering that there's a couple of ex Steelers they could look at here. But the problem with that is I don't expect many schematic changes, when this defensive scheme really needs wholesale changes.

 

Btw,I was joking,I don't want Harrison as DC....But he is 100% right about the current situation of the steelers!

But....the one main thing he was/is ranting about seems wrong. He goes off about Washington blocking Sweat. Sounds cool. James is all worked up. BUT...go watch the play in question. Sweat gets the sack because Rudolph has like zero awareness of where he is and tries to wander out of the top corner of the pocket. Sweat disengages from Washington and Rudolph walks into his arms. Unless Washington (or the requested OT in Harrison's argument) was going to hold Sweat...that is a sack every time. And the fault is Rudolph's.

Just one jackass's opinion. But the rant is cool and makes Harrison feel better but he doesn't seem to be on point.

Always thought he should have been the strength and conditioning coach.

 

He did that symbolically after the coach was sidelining him multiple games for a player half as good. Not a wise decision on his part but I could kind of see where he was coming from.

For someone who played so physical, Harrison stayed surprisingly healthy. We need to bring him in to stress the importance of off season conditioning to all these guys
