    Your original post was that they know what they have in him already. Not that he isnt ready.

    Two different arguments. Im sure every team that spent a first round pick thought they knew what they had and how many went on to be busts. You don’t know until you play meaningful snaps.

    I dont buy he will be ruined by playing him too early. If you have it you have it. Sam Darnolds of the world are far and few between.

    Why destroy Howard by having him play in this QB unfriendly scheme? He's better off chilling on the sidelines and talking to Aaron.

    Not trying to pose different points. The guys coaching Howard know if he's ready. I don't know why you or anyone would think differently.

    I still don't think they would put him in over ARod if ARod is healthy enough to play. One reason is this is his last season and they are not going to bench him to see what Howard looks like under live fire.

    This coaching staff we currently have wouldn’t know how to develop a roll of film let alone develop a qb.
    No faith
    No confidence
    No MOF for any qb

    He missed preseason, he didn’t miss everything. Id give Rodgers 2 more games at most. If he still looks like **** I cant see any reason why not to put Howard in.

    Also you are talking about a coaching staff that played Trubisky and Pickett over Rudolph until they had no choice. Not sure how much I trust their judgment to declare if Howard is ready or not. One way to find out, put him in.

    Many Patriot fans said the same about Maye if he played last year. Would be hard pressed to find a worse situation to start in than that.

    What is the expectation for Howard?
    The team is on a mission to win. It's not about how Arod "looks" or what his stats are like. Btw same goes for Rudolph as the next in line, and Howard as the next to the next in line.
    Those decisions were made in the offseason, and now it's time to go for the wins and let the season play out.

    Guess where Will Howard shined most at Ohio State?! The MOF. Guess where the Steelers don't target?! The MOF.


    For that matter, Pittsburgh has largely avoided the MOF for the past eight seasons. There is one constant no less. Until that goes, expect the same.
