Alternative thread title: Having only one WR who's an NFL starter isn't good if you want to have an NFL caliber offense. Yet for some reason we haven't bothered to get a WR2 for two seasons in a row.

 

Which one is that?

 

Fair comment.

DK is certainly an NFL starter though.

My guess is he'd be doing (significantly?) better if we had another pass catching threat.

 

Other than he is tall, he hasn't shown me jack sh!t yet. What a waste of money.

You think he's not a WR2 in the league?

I certainly agree that we seem to have overpaid him. And put him in a ****ty situation IMO.

I am just still pissed from blowing a very winnable game.

However, he isn't doing much, including the sideline jump ball, where he could have had a little DB in him. Same thing against the Bengals.

He's about 6" taller and 60 lbs. heavier than most DBs., you'd think he could at least attempt to swat the ball down or break up the int.

All honesty, he hasn't shown very much for the salary he has.

 

Up to Wk11 Metcalf has 6 yards less than Ceedee Lamb. Metcalf with 63 targets, Lamb 61.

 

I agree and was hoping for much more out of DK than what he's shown.

But I really do think that this is because we don't really have anyone else that defenses are worried about. I know he was a problem attitude wise, but I wish we kept Pickens through the end of his rookie deal. Having another legit NFL WR on this team would open up so many options on offense.

 

How many games did CeeDee miss this year?

 

I saw a stat that is truly unbelievable

In the month of November so 4 games the Steelers completed 0 passes of 20 yards plus downfield. Jameis Winston in the Giants game Sunday completed 5!

This offense is absolutely horrible at stretching the field.

 

I see we have yet another thread exposing why it was so stupid to trade Pickens.
