Watching Pickens eat up the Eagles D,running all kind of routes.wondering what could have been with a decent QB

It’s not either, Or…them on the field together would have been a game changer.

That automatically makes life easier for the Offensive Line and Jalen Warren.

    Yet y'all say....
    - booooo he missed the bus.
    - booooo he taunted.

Honestly those two things negate these insane skills?

With that kind of production, I should think his "deva" reputation is worth dealing with. However, I doubt if the Steelers would have been smart enough (or capable enough) to utilize Pickens talent this year anyway.

Apparently, some here don't realize a better offense can help overcome the Steelers' erratic defense. Pickens would have helped that tremendously.

Yeah, that's embarrassing. Whoever decided to trade Pickens blew it badly and we're stuck watching the result.

He shouldn't be on another team. Trading him away is likely the move that will end up costing the Steelers a playoff spot. With him, they might have had a puncher's chance of doing some damage when they got there, too. That's what a dominant pair of receivers can do for you. The Steelers had that and gave it away for a third-round draft pick. Idiotic.

Just another "genius" decision by Tomlin I'm sure.

I don’t have a problem not giving Pickens a second contract… but you went out and got Rodgers and DK, you got Pickens on his rookie deal…why not go all in for this year???

The excuse was that his behavior made the situation impossible. Looks pretty damn possible in Dallas.

George Pickens today 146 yard and 1 TD.

Once again better than the entire Steeler WR room. Thanks Khan.

Actually, We just started talking about coaches possibly being the issue here. Sorry that you don't like it.

Actually I don't like it either that we just let a top player go for nothing. And I also don't like that we suck at using players correctly. Who knows what queen would be?

I am convinced that Tomlin no longer wants to put in the work to deal with challenging players. The Steelers have been letting talented players go for pennies on the dollar for years. It finally burned them in a way no one can ignore. No, he wouldn't have quite the same numbers if he had stayed in Pittsburgh, but he would be a hell of a lot better than any receiver they have and the offense would be much better. Time and again, we have seen Rodgers or Rudolph drop back and nobody is open. We have seen receivers, especially Metcalf, lose on 50-50 balls. Pickens would have changed that. It is absolutely fair to suggest the Steelers would have at least two more victories, including yesterday's game, if they had kept Pickens. They would look like a team with the potential to be dangerous in the playoffs. Instead, they probably won't even make the playoffs. Not being able to use Pickens properly or handle his nonsense and trading him away for only a third-round pick was a massive failure by Khan, Tomlin, and the offensive coaching staff.

Khan is the one to blame. Colbert drafted Pickens and take a look around at the skill players Khan has selected. It isn’t impressive.

Johnson looks mediocre, Wilson can’t get a pass thrown his way.

Weidl and Khan have been good at drafting in the trenches but their ability to draft offensive weapons has been an F.

and did anyone watch Sanders in his first start? He looked legit. I know its the Raiders but damn that.. he looked poised for his first start. We could’ve had him instead of Johnson in the 3rd.

Or the fact that he's in a contract year has something to do with it.

Johnson looks mediocre, Wilson can’t get a pass thrown his way and I don’t think there is anyone else besides Washington who should’ve been a weapon on day 1.

Apparently, someone in this post forgot the Steelers had the best receiver in the NFL for 5 years, the best combo RB for 3 years and a top 5 QB and won exactly dick. I wonder who that someone is…..

So your argument is to go with as little talent as possible and try to win every game, 13-10. Got it.
