I would think the burden of proof would be on those saying he does care about it.

For me it won't be. I saw this shtshow coming a mile away. I honestly don't see a winnable game the rest of the way especially if they lose the next two. By that point those vets you are talking about will want to go to Cancun and live their best life. Sure there is a path to 9 or 10 wins, but it's really dependent on at least splitting these next two games.

The Browns and Dolphins are winnable games the other games it depends on which Steelers team will show up.

I'm sure they want to end the playoff drought and thought signing those vets would work it's not just to get to 9 wins.

I knew before this year that this team was too old....If it was in 2020,it would been a great team, like almost a dream team...but in 2025?

I find it funny that people are acting like the Steelers were upset today. Even if the Steelers had their starting QB and everyone else played well, the Bears are still a better, more talented team.

They'll beat the Ravens once, Dolphins, and Browns. I also have a feeling they're going to upset the Bills next week.

They're not winnable if this team of vets quit on Tomlin.

The season is not over until the Steelers are mathematically eliminated.

Yeah, hard to see a comeback, AR has been showing his age his last couple starts and the D still has problems in pass defense and an inconsistent pass rush.

this may be the year Tomlin slips below 500.

we needed AR and Watt to step up to make this a successful season - its not happening

Did you miss them quitting on Tomlin last year when the entire defense made business decisions the entire playoff game against the Ravens? If the lose the next 2, that'll be 6 loses of their previous 8. They'll pack it in quicker than you know ii.

Tomlin will probably get into the hall of fame. However, you never know. There are currently 29 head coaches in the HOF.

Tomlin has 2 Superbowl trips with 1 win. 12 trips to the playoffs. The 2nd ever black HC to win a SB (I hate bringing race into anything, but it is a factor as he was the 2nd to ever do it. Tony Dungy was the 1st). 18 winning season streak (currently).

Of those, the only stat that he has where he can be 'first' is his winning season streak. Tom Landry is 1st at 21 seasons in a row. Bill Belichick is 2nd at 19. Tomlin ties Belichick if he can win this season. If he can win 2027 and 2028, he ties Landry.

Additionally, the Steelers franchise is tied for the most winning seasons in a row at 21. They are tied with the Cowboys. If they win this season, they will be the sole holders of that title. 22 winning seasons is a record that might stand forever. The Rooney's would probably like that one.

So, I bet that the powers that be are aware of it and that the closer it gets to slipping away, the more angst they will experience.

There is not a team left on our schedule that I don't think we can't beat. The problem is that I also think that every team left on the schedule could beat us. That is the story of every team the Steelers play. You just don't know which team will show up to play. The playoff caliber team, or the get draft pick #1 team.

Yup. Reality is finally starting to set in. The Steelers had the opportunity to do some good things this year, but threw them away when they traded Pickens with no replacement in place.

The Ravens started 1-5 and we couldn’t even hold on to the division lead until Thanksgiving. Pitiful.

Our receiving corps is terrible for the second straight year. DK is soft for such a big strong dude he’s no number 1.

Based on some of the decisions and play calling, looks like the coaches quit on the players

I agree. At the moment I have no idea who will represent the AFC in the Bowl. I do think the NFC is between Rams and Iggles.

Per my previous post; a reminder that Tomlin averages one three-game losing streak a season in each of the last five years. Brace yourselves for Buffalo, then Baltimore.....
