Rudolph was terrible on decisions on long passes. 3rd and 2 and you want to throw a bomb. That last pass would have been intercepted if not tipped. How come a receiver don’t know to run an out with 30 seconds no time outs. How come receivers don’t know basic formation on that Mason run. How can you have Watts and Herbig covering wide receivers on same play. We really don’t have a number 1 receiver. Metcalf sucks . This team reflects mMike Tomlin dumb and soft. Need to tear it down. Rodger isn’t going to help without receiving corp. Rodgers isn’t coming back next year to this **** show. Tomlin may not a non losing season with the schedule ahead. Start a rookie next year.

I live in Middle TN but been a diehard Steelers fan since I was a five yr old kid back in 1976 living in Roanoke, VA. I saw the glory days as young child and horrible yrs under Bubby, Stoudt, and many others.

It’s so discouraging as this team is inconsistent. Those outside of the Burgh love Tomlin - I don’t! I’m always told I should appreciate the fact Steelers in contention unlike the Titans and many other teams.


The offense is pathetic - short oasses with YAC yards. When will it change? Arthur Smith did the same thing for Titans when he had RB Henry.

I’m rambling on but just frustrated as I had hope this team would find a way to win this game and stay ahead in the North.



The division belongs to the guys in Purple and a wild card will be out of reach most likely.

Our D is old and we need a franchise QB, receivers ….

Right. Rudy wasn't great, but he still had them in the game. Tomlin's decision making was piss poor most of the 4th quarter

 

I'd still bet them to be the AFC representative in the SB.

They should have been done, but just like when Brady was around, they don't beat themselves. They were beatable, but teams sh*t themselves and beat themselves.

Oh, silly me. I would have thought it might be nice if his defense bailed him out on one of the turnover's or, at minimum, held them to a FG attempt.

Steelers are not making the playoffs this year. Bill are not laying an egg two weeks in a row and a couple of extra days rest (L). Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and seem to be peaking (L, L). Miami won't be easy but we should win since we are home (W). Detroit in Detroit...aint happeing (L). Hopefully the Browns won't put up much of a fight but who knows since they are playing at home. We are their playoff game (W).

That puts us at 2-4 down the stretch to finish 8-9. Tomlin will be back next year because he obviously has some blackmail material on the Rooney family and we will be doing this all over again. We are officially the rinse and repeat organization in the NFL right now.

Didn't the defense give the Steelers O the ball twice in the 4th quarter needing only a FG?

The defense wasn't good, but they didn't lose the game because of the play of the defense.

 

Truth! I said the same thing and got flamed by a couple members.

 

Mason has to find a way to score 28 points in this game. That's his job.
Gotta find a way. It's his loss. Game was there for the taking. He did a good job until the last two drives. Then it's time to find the way to close the game out.
I'm putting the loss on the QB. I don't care if it's Ben, Aaron, or Mason in there.
