Agreed stupid play. Why aren't these players coached for situations like this?

Makes sense I guess...that way you're not milking the clock to give guys rest.

Another example of why listening to the announcers is bad.

Not gonna happen. Bills will be out for blood after that Houston game debacle.

The offense has been like this since game 1. It's either a bomb or 2 yard pass.

this team needs more than that right now. O needs playmakers at the wr position ,def needs stars that show up every week, entire coaching staff needs to go tomlin can take his record non losing record and shove it up his ass. to me its a we are average record 8-8 ,9-8 if thats good enough for him he doesnt belong in pittsburgh

Poor coaching. You’re what 5 yards out of typical FG range in a year that records have been set kicking AND You’ve one of the best in the league. You’re in that range have zero TOs left. You’ve got to go for the tie and kick it there. Give it a shot period.

Poor arse decision from the very top. Ugh

I have never viewed non-losing seasons as an accomplishment. Utterly meaningless.

The NFL doesn't give out 9-8 trophies, only Stephen A Smith and E$PN award them.

Conservative ass predictable play calling is what lost us this game. Tomlin's insistence on playing it close to the vest on office until it's absolutely necessary to open it up makes for a predictable easy offense to defend. This was very winnable this is 100% on coaching

They're not going to finish with a winning record this year.

More likely to finish 7-10 than with a winning record.

Rudolph wasn't great, but he didn't give up 31 points. It also wasn't his decision to go for it on 4th down instead of letting the best place kicker in the league try a long game tying FG. Rudolph was a problem in this game, but he wasn't the only or the biggest problem.
