How the hell do those receivers not realize what is going on and have one get on the line? They had a great shot to at least tie the game after the run by Rudolph and lost it to a brain-dead pre-snap penalty.

 

I think punting was stupid. Rather hold them to three and get the ball back with some time.

 

Need a miracle now.

If Austin lines up correctly at worst we are tied possibly leading

Mason was not the biggest problem today

Iirc, Baltimore will be tied or at worst, a game back after today w / Buffalo and Detroit over next few weeks. Add in an ailing Rodgers w/suspect D this yr.

 

I can’t say I agree - despite having three time outs, they will still run time off the clock.

If we are lucky enough for a 3 and out, we get the ball back, deep on our side of the field, with maybe 1 min 30 or less.

 

No. If you hold there, the Bears go up six and you at least have a shot to win it. Instead, their best hope is to get the ball deep in their own end with very little time left and no time-outs.

I think they're just a better team than we are.

I can't understand how you watch that defense for 56+ minutes and decide to punt there.
