Steelers vs Bears Official Game Thread

Looks like our defense is having mixed success. Probably need another turnover before it`s over.

Our offense is doing better than expected IMO.

So who do we want to lose today. Chiefs or Colts?

We have tie breaker on Colts, so would prefer they lose. I think Chiefs are going nowhere this year and not playoff bound.

Rats struggling. They probably would have lost last week if Gabriel played the whole game.

 

Still have end of game D to worry about.

 

That was horrible prevent defense. 3rd and long at midfield and Steelers gave that up without contention. No one near the first down marker to stop conversion

 

Well we get the ball after the half anyhow

The Colts will likely win their division I don't think the Steelers will be competing with them for a wildcard spot.

 

I sure hope we win, because beef, pork, cheese, and spinach ravioli kick a$$

 

Im still not over that play (and we’re at halftime) In my opinion, that was indeed a first down. The whistle was clearly blown after the necessary yardage was gained. A chance to go up 10 or 14 there could’ve changed the games dynamics to our favor.

 

Our defense is weird. Bad defense that’s good at taking the ball away. Steelers defense of old would force punts and turnovers.

Need a long, sustained drive now.

 

If the offense continues to play like they did in the 1st half the steelers should walk away with a win.

 

They were fooled on the play. I have a bigger problem with the third-and-five earlier in the drive. They played way too soft and left a receiver wide open for an easy conversion.

 

If we do good the rest of the way and they do so-so or worse, maybe we can have same record and get seeded higher.

Rats may not be overtaking us for all we know. They look sickly.

 

I'm worried about the 2nd half starts we've had in some of the losses recently. Packers, Bengals and Chargers springs to mind.

Steelers defense of old didn't have every rule applied to make it easier for offense to score points. This isn't the same NFL as 5 years ago, let alone farther back

 

The Steelers have 125 yards rushing, aided by a huge gain on a trick play. Rudolph has 10 completions on 11 attempts. They have a defensive touchdown. They have mostly handled the Bears' running game.

So much has gone the Steelers' way and they are only up four. They really need a strong drive to start the second half.

 

Points here would be huge

 

I'm not holding my breath about getting a higher seed than the Colts who only have two losses.
