    1. Switch the tackles around. Troy Fautnau is better than Jones. The left tackle protects the QB blind side and Jones is more likey of the two to be beaten in pass protection.

    2. Feature Wilson more. He is a better mid range receiver and can get deep. He is also a better a blocker than Austin.

    3. Use Washighton more. Use Smith less.

    4. Find a FB who can block well on the NFL practice squads. There must be one out there in the NFL or even CFL

    5. Throw the ball past the stick more often on down #2.

Of course we can fire Tomlin and get a real OC ... but that is another thread.

They seem to bring in these UDFA types all the time to play FB those guys don't make the team, the last real FB they had was Derek Watt and he was mostly a special teams contributor.

Get lucky and find a steady franchise QB.

A few teams have won a SB with journeymen or 2nd string QB's. My fantasy: Rodgers goes down for season which I'm convinced is happening. Mason comes in and has a moment. And, what the hell, Pirates win the WS too.

Washington is unstoppable. I agree to utilize him more and Rodgers would agree.

Smith was a luxury and has not lived up to expectations and has been inconsistent.

As far as a fullback they use it very sparingly so Heyward can handle those duties when needed.

    1. Fautanu's college qb was left handed, so the right side was the blind side .... both he and Jones are in the right place.... Just need the proper coaching

    2. Wilson has been slowly logging more snaps than Austin, so his involvement in the passing game is a matter of time

    3. Washington's usage is a no brainer (especially in the red zone).... add Muth in that equation as well

    4. Connor Heyward is more than capable if they dare to actually use him in that capacity

    5. I was thinking more on 1st down

The coaching will always be a problem until it's changed, which renders points 1 - 5 moot

The problem with Heyward is that he isn't that good of a blocker. He's not capable of being a Dan Kreider or even a Roosevelt Nix type, which is what I think the OP meant.

I would like to see Howard get some playing time. It's obvious we're not going to the superbowl this season so if Rodgers can't go let's see what howard has got.

I`m worried that Rodgers gameplan will be to take no hits and throw the ball very quickly because of his injury. The Bears coaching staff has to figure that will be the case and will be set up accordingly and so we end up playing into their scheme and don`t score much.

Would rather gamble on Rudolph starting if the gameplan for Rodgers is for too many quick throws or throw the ball away too much.

If it's so obvious to you that we aren't going to the SB, then it should be just as obvious who is.
Please let me know the two teams it will be.

LoL. You listen to Cowherd too much. I would like You, and him to list all the Offensive minded head coaches that have failed since the last 10 years he has said this, and you have fell for it. I think you would be surprised.

It’s the same issues it has been since Ben’s elbow injury we don’t stretch the field. We play scared offensively and super conservative which is what Mike likes.

Bears have the coach I thought would be perfect for the Steelers in this day and time. Cowboys screwed up when they let Payton go to the Saints 20 years ago. Steelers missed a good opportunity to upgrade at HC with Ben Johnson this past offseason.

Yeah , I heard You say this about a few HCs since I've been on here that have been fired since, or have not been very good.

    B. Daboll, Mike McDaniels, K. Stefansky(However his name is spelled),and K. Kingsbury are ones that come to mind. All failures. You pick HCs like you pick wins. LoL
Let's wait, and see if this one is really all that. Right now everyone is new to how he coaches, let's see what he does when people have more tape as a HC on him. Then we will talk.
Hey what's your opinion on the newest Star Trek show. I haven't watched any of that one yet?

    Things I world do
    1. Tell these over paid players to take a hike
    2. Don't worry about drafting a QB until mid round
    3. Trade out of the first.
    4. Draft CB, DT, WR, RB, LB, Safety, QB

As for this season. Let me play out with Mason until Rodgers is better. If Mason makes the offense look better and gets DK more involved, than leave mason in for the rest of the season.

If we were looking at no charge of a post season, see what wilson offers.

Wait… Ben Johnson knows football big time because he played Madden on franchise mode?

Well, I beat all of the DOOM games on PC at the highest skill levels, so I guess by that same logic I should be the guy that the government calls if we need to quell an invasion of demons pouring through an interdimensional rift.
