Well a perfect weekend would be Central Catholic, Pitt and Steelers winning. I'm confident with my old HS winning. Kind of Confident Steelers come through. Pitt is gonna be the toughest.

I don't know about this one. Seriously doubt Pitt goes to GT and wins. Pitt is only a 2.5 underdog.

    Good luck Panthers.

The schedule makers didn't do them any favors. 4 tough games in a row to end the season. But, Pitt is notorious for late season collapses, no matter the opponents. I'm looking at who the top rated teams are playing today and it's embarrassing. Ohio State/Rutgers? Texas AM/Samford? Alabama/Eastern Illinois? Georgia/Charlotte? Don't wanna offend the ranking-makers this late in the season.

Now do their overall schedule. LoL
You could put Penn State, and Pittsburgh into the playoffs just for fun, and they wouldn't get past the 1st round. Not enough talent. Do not mistake this for me saying they don't have any talent. They do, but some of those teams have talent at every single position, and their backups. College football is not exactly fair in its distribution of talent, and it never has been.

Get em PITT!!!!! Man I'd love to watch a Steeler game like that.

Panthers still have a shot at ACC Championship. If GT beat us last night they'd have made it.

Pitt tied with SMU and Virginia in the ACC. Just beat Miami in the Burgh and maybe we'll get lucky.

GO PANTHERS!!!!! Please F the NIL and stay with Pitt Mason. 18 year old punk looks good.

Pitt will again be huge underdogs against Miami, I like our chances better than the ND game.

Pitt doing Pitt things. Taking after Narducci who announces to the world that he doesn’t care of they lose by a hundred to ND. Team is so undisciplined. Refs are calling all pansy crap. Shut you damn mouths and play the game the right way.

Crap. Good season for Panthers and I'm sure they'll get one of the many Bowl games.

3 former Pitt FB players - Antonio Bryant, Ironhead Heyward and Matt Cavanaugh plus former head coach Jacki Sherrill - have been nominated for the College HOF this year. Forgot how good these players were as well as Coach Sherrill. Keep mind, this was LONG before NIL and the Transfer Portal ruined college sports and essentially blew up chances for most teams (like Pitt) to ever be truly competitive again.

Bryant was Pitt’s first Biletnikoff Award winner following his sophomore campaign in 2000, in which he posted 68 catches for 1,302 yards and 11 touchdowns.

That season, he was also a consensus All-American, first-team All-Big East selection and Big East Co-Offensive Player of the Year.

Cavanaugh quarterbacked the Panthers to national dominance, including Pitt’s 1976 national championship season. The MVP of the Sugar Bowl, cementing Pitt as national champions, and 1977 Gator Bowl, Cavanaugh was a first-team All-American as a senior in 1977.

“Ironhead” Heyward, the father of longtime Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward, led the nation in rushing in 1987 (1,791 yards), earning consensus All-American honors and finishing fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting.

Sherrill went 50-9-1 as Pitt’s coach, which included four Top-10 national finishes and wins in the 1977 and 1980 Gator Bowl, 1979 Fiesta Bowl and 1982 Sugar Bowl.

Sherrill’s .842 winning percentage is the highest by a coach in program history.

    HTP! :thumbs up:
