I know this is not the point of the thread...but any argument that Josh Allen is not one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL right now is absolutely ludicrous. That dude is singlehandedly keeping a deeply flawed Bills roster in contention.

    Why not?

Ravens have a better than even shot of taking the AFC North.
Bills should fairly readily make it in as a wild card.
Chiefs catch a break and they get in as the final wild card.

Once they are in the playoff field, I would be more likely to believe those three having dominant runs than I would the Colts or Broncos.

So they don't coach good enough, is that what You're saying??
Hell we went 8-8 with a Qb Mason Rudolph, and Duck Hodges that had never played a real game in the NFL, and that was with 2 losses before they ever played a game. Crazy we can do that with our terrible coaches, that never change anything, and yet a two time HC of the year can't. LoL

Because the Colts, Patriots, and Broncos are better teams this year, just because those teams get in as wild cards doesn't mean they will be the best teams by January.

Lamar is not in his top 5 too!

He just hate the running QB with over 100 runs per year!

The Colts, Patriots, and Broncos are not playoff winning teams. They just aren't.

Look what the Steelers did to Daniel Jones by stopping the run. Put Jones behind the sticks and remove the play action pass. Then you gear up any semblance of a pass rush and Jones disintegrates just like he has every single time before in his entire career. Same for Darnold.

Broncos are a joke on offense. It is Sean Payton smoke and mirrors on the back of a good defense. Other playoff caliber teams will expose them come January.

Patriots might have a puncher's chance. Maye is a legit talent that can elevate the entire roster. The only one of the three that I could see making a deep run.

I guess. Pretty clear that Mahomes, Allen, and Lamar are the class of the AFC this year. If not the entire league.

I think Denver have a chance in the playoffs if they are at home....Their defense is amazing and if they continue to play like that and have the number 1 seed, they will be hard to beat. They have one of the best homefield advantage in the league. Also Nix is not perfect but he can at least step up in the fourth quarter when this is the time

I agree with you for the colts but we will see more about them on sunday in KC,who is a must win for the chiefs

with Stafford in the NFC...Burrow would be in the discussion if he could stay healthy but this is not the case

You are right. The Broncos have a shot. BUT...I really think Nix is fool's gold. And in the tighter windows and more pressurized setting of the playoffs, his shortcomings are going to really show out. This is a Broncos team that has already put a couple of the worst offensive performances in the league this season on tape.

    Fair.

Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, and Stafford. Some version of those guys are the top 5. Then there is a group you can toss guys like Maye, Love, Prescott, Herbert, Goff, and Baker into. After that....it gets really suspect pretty quickly.

2019 is the one season Steelers defense was above average after years of mediocrity... hell since 2011. Minkah was lights out that year. Watt was emerging as a top edge rusher.

Bills are broken for now and I think we can spit with Rats, so I`m leaning more at finishing 10-7.

Other competition: Not sold on Pats maintaining, but Denver is solid.

With the weak showing this year by Chiefs and Bills, now thinking 10-7 will make playoffs.

Looks like an NFC team will win Super Bowl.

You're living in the past and haven't watched the Mahomes and Allen play this season, if they were the class of the AFC they wouldn't have 4-5 losses.

Yes...if we had that D from '15-18.... Steelers may have won more playoff games. But still think Patriots would have smoked them.. because of Brady picking apart zone. With Haden and Fitz.... they could have at least tried man coverage vs Patriots. Problem is... nobody could cover Gronk during that time.

I said by the playoffs those would be 3 of the last 4 standing likely with 2 in the AFC Championship. I never said the top 3 seeds. Problem is now if Baltimore wins the division they may have to play Buffalo or KC first rd in the WC game. Buffalo and KC don’t look like they are winning the divisions. Baltimore will if Lamar doesn’t get hurt.

True but remember Gronk was out for the pats in the 2016 playoffs....But Brady still kill our zone defense

He's still better than LJ in my opinion. Lamar hasn't been the most available QB either.
