You know, just from what I can see of Chads face, I don't see a big grin, I think it was just what it was, a pat on the butt, good job, he's an athlete its what they do. Was it smart? No, but I don't think he was trying to be a goof ball, I just don't think he thought at all. Costly mistake.

    Baliffs reaction is priceless :lolol:

People do stuff like this all the time in court, when are they going to learn. Judges to do have any sense of humor at all in court proceedings. It's yes sir, yes maam, and yes your honor. Be kind, and leave.

Fall from grace for CJ or Ochostinko, I actually miss him because he did hardly anything against the Steelers when he played against us.

While it was a pretty dumb thing for Chad to do, and I'm not huge Chad fan, the judge really overreacted. If you watch the video you can almost hear her getting more and more upset as she continues talking about it. Seems like it hurt her feelings that he didn't take it more seriously and she was on a little power trip or something.

I just watched the video and certainly a messed up situation. You can hear him say good job to his attorney just before the slap and the judge just kind of freaks out. I know slapping your lawyer on the ass is unusual behaviour, but I don't see how it warrants throwing out a plea agreement and sentencing the guy to jail.

I heard a replay of some commentator calling what Johnson did the "height of idiocy." To not take court seriously when you're in front of a female judge on charges of violating probation stemming from a domestic violence charge! I agree.
