That's actually good news for Mason. Tough matchups but none of these defenses ranks in the top half of the league in either YPG or PPG. He should be able to put yp some points.

The Ravens' defensive numbers are skewed by the first five games of the season when they were gutted by injuries.

The Bears must have won, we still have Bears around but no more Vikings.

Does this mean he will have trouble receiving the ball, if his left wrist is cracked? When is the Tomlin presser?

They were talking about that on the fan today. Can he take the snap alright? Can he use his left hand to hand the ball off? Having a broken bone in his non throwing wrist still effects how he can play.

Mason looked like he was prepared to go in on the spur of the moment and did a fine job

    Exactly

    Limited reps during the week

He stepped up and looked confident

Although he is a 6th year vet

They made Gabriel look like a legitimate starter. Probably would have won the game if not for the injury.

Mason is in his 8th year in the league, his rookie year was 2018.

By jeh’s standards, 2 years is rounding error.

Well in his defense there were two years that even though he was on the team he didn't take a snap those years.

Yup, some people are forgetting what he looked like in Buffalo that year he took over.

Also, how he looked in Tennessee for a few games until he went backwards. He's a back-up for a reason. They get brought in to do the job well for a few games before starter is ready to come back. Very rarely do you get the Back-up actually performing well above the starter and becoming a permanent starter. Nick Foles? Tom Brady?

I was a few pages behind on this post and just caught up. I have to say that after reading a bunch of those back and forth posts, I was reminded of the ole 'I know you are, but what am I?' line of argument.....lol I absolutely lost sight of what point some were trying to make......

Anyways, Rogers has a small break / tiny fracture / minor break / in his wrist. That seems to be pretty much undisputed as it is on a lot of sources.

How long will he be out if at all? We probably won't know until they have to report it which is Wednesday I think? The news has nothing beyond lots of speculation and rumors. Most are doing the 50/50 maybe maybe not choice which basically means they don't know but feel the need to make some kind of a prediction.....lol.

Which brings us to Rudolph. As many others have said, he is a backup for a reason. He has had several chances to become a starter during his career. None of those panned out. I think that he is about as good of a backup as we could have. He knows the team. He is competent. He has a good level of experience. He can get us some more wins I think. And lets be honest, we do not really have a SB caliber team. But, I think that he is more than capable of keeping us in the hunt for a playoff spot until Rodgers returns or the season ends.
