Darnell Washington appreciation thread

Offseason priority sign Washington and Herbig to contract extensions.

 

Darnell will either be the first or among the first members of his draft class to get paid. Dude has been growing steadily ever since his Rookie Season. Now, he is showcasing why he was viewed so highly of in the draft when he came out.


Georgia not using him had less to do with him and much more to do with this Tight End named Brock Bowers.

 

Trade them so we can get Manning in the draft.
Stay focus on what we planned in August people.

He is seriously my favorite player on Offense, and maybe my 1st offensive jersey I've gotten since Roethlisberger, or Ward.

 

I've got an old Burress #80 jersey. I wonder if I can buy the Washington name plate for it.

No joke. My wife turned an old Tommy Maddox jersey I have into a Kenny Pickett jersey using her cricket machine. She even bought the official Steelers color gold to make the nameplate. Besides the fact that it's a reebok jersey and those no longer exist, you would never be able to tell the difference.

I need to get her to turn it into a Rodgers jersey next.

Serious question. If the Titans continue to stink up the joint, they will hold the top pick. They don’t need a QB having spent the top pick on Cam Ward last year. Anyone advocating packaging our 1st round pick along with Watt for their 1st round? It might take more capital from us, but is Mendoza the real deal?

My concern is the stains have (2) #1 picks next year. They could and should go all in for Mendoza. But the browns is browns. They'll brown it up some how.
