This is exactly what I'm seeing too. Rudolph hasn't been bad at all, but everything he did today was short passes and players made plays. It's good to see him play well and get the W, but I still think we're better with Rodgers than Rudolph

All Qbs see the field different. That's why sometimes playing against the backup you didn't scheme for can hurt you. Also Mason isn't terrified of getting hit.

 

Probably, but Rodgers hasn't been hitting anything down the field lately, either. The Steelers took advantage of the Bengals' defense being terrible in the second half today, but they would need to attack down the field more regardless of who plays quarterback next week.

We definitely are. Mason did exactly what you want a back up to do… not turn it over, complete a bunch of dump offs and not lose the game. The defense ended up winning it for use anyways
